He didn't kill Roger because "he was going to die", he killed Roger because Roger was going feral and would attack and kill anything he saw.

actually I believe he did it because of both reasons but seemed more of a mercy killing since it seems Roger is the only guy we see him be nice to. He killed him cause he was going feral and dying, even gave him the courtesy of having his last thoughts being of good food, his mom, and without him knowing he was about to be shot. AND ofc he also “needed” to eat him cause food is scarce in the wasteland.

@@bradenliner7189 OK, but they said on the video Roger was going to die so he put him out of his misery when in reality Roger wasn't going to die, everyone around Roger was going to die. Also, I don't think that was for food perse. He flipped Roger over and it looked like he cut his kidneys out and ate that. I suspect since kidneys are the bodies filter, they had trapped chemicals in them and the Ghoul was eating them to try to stay alive.

Miss October may enjoy the fact that the show actually takes place 9 years after Fallout 4. So it's a canonical sequel to the current games and takes place in the game world in a more literal sense. That's why the stimpaks work like "game magic."

@@testfire3000 my last play through I decided to can anything that was going to sidetrack me. It made the first few levels satisfyingly more difficult until I could reach a point where I could slow down a bit. There’s obvious parallels in the show for all the characters in the show and it’s great. Love this show.

20:40 - No trouble at the studio, he's only doing the ad since his wife asked him to. I think Amazon didn't do it weekly because of how game adeptations can be received. They wanted it to be good, but I think they wanted to know sooner than later if they were going to invest in a season 2, so they just gave it in binge format. I wouldnt bw surprised if season 2 is weekly release.

I love the Ghoul everyone doesn't have to be sugary sweet. He has a mission and he's getting it done. I love that he doesn't baby Lucy. She messed up his finger and he immediately did the same to her. Eye for eye sense she likes sayings so much. Episode 4 was my favorite because of the vault mystery. Also because there was no Maximus. (He's a self righteous coward) Never warmed up to him. 😂

When y'all' are done with Fallout you should watch Justified if you haven't seen it. Walton Goggins is amazing in that show. His chemistry with the main character played by Timothy Olyphant is phenomenal. It's one of the best shows I've ever watched and a must watch for any southerner.

The little Fallout mascot actually has two official names. In the Bathesda age, it became known as Vault Boy, but originally it was Pip Boy. Officially, either name can be used, but hardcore fans still refer to the little guy as Pip Boy.

You could say the Ghoul has some hatred towards Vault-tec, for good reason. Unfortunately Lucy has been brain washed into the Vault-tec way and the Ghoul is going to set her straight. Lucy is learning the harsh reality of the world, now she has her first kill. The Ghoul may be a total d!ck to her, but at the same time she's learning that the world is far from being nice like her vault. But so far she won't let it destroy the person she is at the core. She could have shot the Ghoul, could have not given him the meds so he would turn feral, but she did none of that. She still retained her kindness and gave him the meds, but at the same time gained some attitude. When Lucy asked the Ghoul who he is and he said "I'm you sweetheart, just give it some time" he's basically saying she's going to lose her blood innocence, her naivety, that Golden Rule and become hardened and ruthless like him. I like them going back to Vault 33, Norm is kinda like the 4th main character.

It's like that line by Wilzig from episode 2. "Will you still want the same things once you've become a different animal all together?" The Ghoul has had to become as callous as he is to survive the wasteland for 200 years. Lucy just hasn't experienced enough of the surface life to be able to put herself in his shoes. It's easy for someone to say what they won't do when they haven't been put into that situation before. It's another story when the time actually comes to find out.

The water chip being destroyed was a reference to fallout 1 as the game kicks off by you getting sent into the wasteland from vault 13 because your water chip is broken and you need to search other vaults to find a new one

As a Fallout fan (Bethesda's Fallout mostly) I also thought the beginning of the show was just alright but by episode 5 I was completely sold and episode 3 was the breaking point where I got really interested. Now it may be surprising, but what I liked the most about the show was Norm's story (Lucy's brother), because I couldn't wait for the big reveal and it kept me guessing. While stuff on the surface was just alright, mostly due to the Ghoul character imo. Anyways, Norm is my favorite after Ghoul, and I hope you like him too :)

The Enclave was various branches of the government who embraced nuclear war, concidered criminals and hated anything radiated, like ghouls, a powerful faction hungry for power. Creating the vaults for the privileged to survive the Great War. Until...The Brotherhood took them out. Used in these battles Liberty Prime. A 40 ft robot capable 4, 496 lbs of force, Head mounted lasers, back mounted supply of Mark 28 Nuclear bombs. Which tells us the Brotherhood is pretty powerful. There r still remnants of the Enclave tho. Mr Handy Robots rn't all bad they all have differnt tasks, some r Nannys, some repair, some police, etc. Fallout is a battle of factions, yet learning the have common enemies like Vault-Tec or The Institute.
