I think TNA are more willing to send the bigger names because it exposes the top stars in the company to a wider audience whereas WWE likely want to send wrestlers who aren't used as much to give them more experience.

I get where Adam is coming from, but I disagree since I don't think the NXTxTNA relationship is one-sided. I get WWE could send AJ Styles over or Mia Yim, but I think sending NXT talent over that doesn't have a lot of experience can be really helpful + I'm just saying, but at least NXT are sending their talent over & vice versa for TNA since when AEW & TNA were working together. That relationship was mostly a one-way street instead of a 2-way street.

NXT, being the bigger brand, will always protect its profit margins in the first and would understandably be reluctant to take the risk of having its top draws getting injured in TNA - not even if it's to carry out a Pearl Harbor job or even trade punches with TNA stars. Even a pull-apart could result in an injury,

I'm being very biased, but Izzy Dame is from my hometown, so I think it's great seeing her in TNA. To me, it's just showing that she wants to get as much experience as she can and that she's taking wrestling seriously. She's not just taking the paycheck from WWE. So, Adam, respectfully shut your goddamn mouth.

If Dijak does get signed to AEW, in my personal opinion, he should NOT be an AEW guy. There's too much stuff going in AEW right now and he would definitely be lost in the shuffle. Instead, he should be an ROH guy. He's got lots of history in ROH before he signed with WWE, he can give ROH some much-needed star power and name value and bring a lot of eyes of that product.... a product that, let's be honest here, not that many people really care for nowadays. But if you want my brutally honest opinion, Dijak should go to TNA.

Let's set aside our preferences and be honest. Currently, the AEW+NJPW partnership, include the pending AEWROH+NJPW+CMLL+Stardom partnership at Wrestle Dynasty at the Tokyo Dome, is 10x better than the WWE-based NXT+TNA Wrestling partnership. The NXT+TNA Wrestling partnership is more of an Endeavor TKO handout given to Anthem Sports and Entertainment, as a favor. NJPW, CMLL & Stardom doesn't need a rub from AEWROH, unlike TNA Wrestling getting a rub from a WWE developmental brand. The 2024 AEW+NJPW Forbidden Door event was a spectacular event last night.

Why would WWE send their highest profile stars to a promotion that is undeniably smaller and has fewer eyes on it? TNA is the smaller promotion. It makes sense for the smaller promotion to send their bigger stars to the bigger, just as it makes sense for the bigger promotion to send their less used lower card talent to the smaller promotion to get ring time. WWE stands to gain nothing by sending their biggest stars to smaller promotions. I have to wonder if you guys put much thought into your commentary.

I still think WWE should send some bigger guys. It's an NXT x TNA relationship so they're not going to send big name main roster talent but would it kill them to send like. Baron Corbin? or Nathan Fraser + Axiom? something like that you know?
@SkunkApe407
@SkunkApe407 3 ай бұрын
@@lilsunny7399 I'd be all for some mid-card WWE talent crossing over. That would actually be a lot of fun. Ricochet is a perfect example of someone who could do big things in TNA as a WWE guy. He has the spotlight and the talent, but lacks highly polished mic skills. TNA has some really good mic jocks, who could teach him some stuff, while learning from one of the best athletes in the business. Guys like Hendry could put on some bangers with a guy like Ricochet.

@@waterhose8467different definitions my guy. AEW is for the acrobatic set, WWE nails presentation and set-up. Overtime most of us who were impressed with AEW have gotten bored of constant flips and no sells and competitive matches between champs and undercard goofs. WWE has less ‘impressive matches’ but all the little things that make most fans tune in week to week are there, ref. Punk v Drew. Amazing build without a single match.
@waterhose8467
@waterhose8467 3 ай бұрын
@@ianm1462 I got a disagree with that. Yeah there are acrobatic movements but then you also got wrestlers like Brian Danielson Kyle Riley Zach saber Junior, and so on. It's not the matches themselves it's what you say which I sort of agree with the build of the matches. For some reason Tony Khan can't just hire someone with more booking experience compared to what we've been for some reason Tony Khan can't just hire someone with more booking experience compared to what we've for some reason Tony Khan can't just hire someone with more booking experience compared to WWE who not only have Shawn Michaels but triple h booking the show. Aew a few couple years ago had a good build remember CM punk versus MJF? That feud had a build it had a few couple of promos that led to a buildup of their match and other matches. Is for consistency, of their booking AEW can have a technical match they can have a acrobatic match but that doesn't ignore the fact that it's not the matches but the buildup which is the problem. Swerve and Will osprey actually had a good promo and a good buildup but by the time that happened we were two weeks away from the pay-per-view match which was still pretty good. That's my issue and that is what I want to see improve I don't understand this notion of seeing a wrestling company die because it's not good when in fact WWE was not too far from this not too long ago. I wish that Tony should just step back hire people to book the show and focus on rebuilding aew as a whole due to the fact that the two other shows are where most wrestling happened but no buildup actually happens.
