As someone who has good health, he explains what he's been through perfectly. Paints such a vivid picture. I can't imagine going through all that. I truly believe music saved his life and gave him a purpose to fight for. This song was his most recent song. Everything else on his album was recorded before he went to Canada for treatment. This man never ceases to amaze me! I hope you'll watch some of his band, The Big Push. He can do rap, he can do reggae, he can do bardcore. He does it all! Beats, lyrics, instruments. Amazing.

I have heard this song over 70 times now. I STILL bob and weave to the beat every time! "Bones are the home where the devil rests" (Lymes disease attacked his bones). "I watched him tie a rope and jump". He cried, begged, pleaded, and eventually gave up on and curse his god/god's (they were dead to him). He then, bowed to his new god (his disease) and begged for mercy..... His bed was both a "tomb" and a "womb"; that births new problems and ailments... Edit: Sometimes I think Corey doesn't have the words he is looking for but that is why y'all are great friends and you understand him well. I LOVE the cut in by him here lmao. 100% spot on! 3:57 Edit number 2: 9:10 As I said, I have played this song somewhere around 70 times. It 1000% has replay ability. Also, what is most funny about this pause section was. Y'all wanted to pause and react to the "Mac - 10 spay in the bed I was trapped in" bar. However, the song made it to the Clapton, Hendrix, Kendrick line and y'all forgot all about the Mac 10 lol.

Many have said that Ren is a modern bard, and it's difficult to disagree. And I'm convinced that no matter what, Ren was ALWAYS going to be a musician, but (and I don't mean any disrespect here) his illness and his ability to put his struggles into song, is what allowed Ren to be Ren. And thus, every struggle that he went through, also gave him his power. The power to write and compose his songs that are deeply personal, but also the power to touch millions of people that have not only suffered with similar struggles (physical or mental), but also those that can appreciate a TRUE musical artist the likes we haven't seen in a generation!

Great reaction guys!! Just an FYI, Ren does have a label. See the only way you're considered a signed artist is if you sign with one of the big 3 labels, Warner Music, Sony, or Universal Music, all other artists, regardless if with another label or not, are listed officially in industry standards as an "Indie artist" or Independent. There are hundreds of other labels, from ones that are pretty big and act as a farm league of sorts for one of the big 3 all the way down to Indie labels that may only have one or two artist and/or have very limited roles, like maybe just promotion or booking shows. The most important thing most artists look for that aren't worried about signing with any of the big 3 are retaining 100% creative control when making music, and 100% ownership of said music after it's released, after that, when you start blowing up, you almost have to have professional help with sales, distribution etc. That's not to take a single thing away from Ren or other artists that at one time did do EVERYTHING themselves, and are still heavily involved in the process. Ren released this album with two labels sort of, the main one being "The Other Songs", which is a label under the umbrella of Blended Records, which is more a conglomerate of Indie labels, with the focus being on helping Indie artists get their music to the masses without selling your soul to one of the Big 3, it's a pretty cool deal. Here's their links if you want to check them out. Again, great reaction, keep up the good work!! ✌💚 www.theothersongs.com/ www.theothersongs.com/blended

I’m try to sell ass much as stuff as possible, but honestly, I’d be more than happy to flat out send you stuff with no charge. Growlers, antique cocktail recipes poster, about 200 different rare tap handles; again etc…etc (You get the picture) I’ve noticed you guys already have your Chimay and Delirium glassware so you might be interested in a Cantillion metal beer poster or possibly a Westvellerten sign also?… Let me know
