All live, behind the scene video on his patreon of him setting it all up. He went over what he wanted with one of his videographer and friend Josh. He didn't say how many takes he took to get the one he liked. Calgary, Canada. This is his apartment he stays in, he is fairly close to the medical facility he still gets medical treatment at 5 days a week till April.

Love the way he changed these songs up so much, but still honoured them. He recorded two new songs with chinchilla, has some more live mashups and covers coming, and is brushing up old songs to do potentially a Demos vol 3 ep featuring new songs with Eden Nash, Molly McKinna, Ruby J, etc. He also ismwoeking on a 'timeless' album, and might squeeze in a collabs ep. It's all set to be a busy year!

One of my favorite things about Ren is his music hits me in the heart songs like this you can hear his emotion in it especially when he’s not really singing it’s more talking but you can feel that emotion everytime I hear this song I always get sad towards the end because you can see hear and feel his emotions especially at the I’ve been lost part his voice is so emotional it sounds like he’s gonna cry which pulls the emotions out of me

I think that's the 2nd (or 3td) apartment he's been in since moving to Calgary. He didn't really expect to be here so long. At first it was going to be 6-8 months, then a year, not sure now. We're kind of hoping he just decides to stay. I promise we'd take good care of him.

That’s the Calgary Tower all lit up in red in the background. My family all live up in Calgary! It’s a beautiful city! 🥰 We try & make it to the Calgary Stampede whenever we can! 🤩

I’ve been wandering around Calgary in VR, finding the spots Ren has recorded videos there (I love geodetecting) and I agree, it’s certainly a beautiful city. I was also looking round the photospheres of the Stampede just the other day -and it looks fun too. What I hadn’t realised is how many places he’s been filming within walking distance of his apartment. I shouldn’t have been surprised as most of his videos had been in Brighton and were either in his flat there or walking distance away.

@@sputukgmail That’s really cool! My Aunt & Uncle have an apartment they keep in the city & their skyline looks very similar to the one in the video! Their actual house is located out around a main road called Deerfoot. 🥰 It’s definitely a huge city & can take about an hour to drive from one end to the other! I was a little kid during the 1988 Winter Olympics there! But I got to go to the downhill skiing & the closing ceremony! It was amazing!! 🥰

@@BrookePS23 :) I was looking at the photos of the Winter Olympics inside the saddle shaped stadium that they have up on the walls in there at the top where the bars are inside - I mostly remember the Jamaican bobsled team, and Eddie “the eagle” Edward’s being the big stories of those Olympics I remembered from the time watching on TV. I love “visiting” different places in the world in VR - it’s not the same as being there, but having done it and then visited certain places and completely known my way around (which feels weird when you know you’ve never actually been to a place before) it’s pretty close :)

Why do you assume that he's lipsynching? It's live, one take, as always. :) He's in Calgary, as he has been for the last 14 months, undergoing daily experimental treatments. He's in the heaviest phase of treatment atm, so for him to put this out is quite remarkable!

This is his apartment in Calgary, Canada. He lives near the medical center where he has been getting treatment for about 14 month now. Hopefully April is when it wraps up.
