One of my professors worked as an animator on some classic Disney films and he said that James Baxter was ungodly natural when it came to animation. Barely needing to block anything out

i found this interesting about brionys character. James Baxter shares a name with his voice actor, who is also an animator who worked for Disney and DreamWorks animation studios. James Baxter is animated more fluidly than the rest of the characters, as his animation was handled by this episode's guest animator

Alright, so, for context: James Baxter is a legendary figure in the animation community, known for making super smooth and fluid animations. A few years ago he was invited to guest star (guest animate?) on the Cartoon Network show Adventure Time. Baxters contrubution to the episode was a horse that shared his name. This horse had a good two to three times the number of animation frames than any other character in the show, rode around on a unicycle, and would only say "Jaaaaamees Baxter" (with the extended aaa sounding like a horse neigh.) I can't remember the exact plot of the episode at all but I think it was something along the lines of Jake loving this guy and Finn not seeing the appeal, or James Baxter convincing Finn to be more confident in himself, or something along those lines. All I remeber is the people of Ooo loved this horse man and he kept saying his name over and over.
