He seems a little pissed honestly. Which I wouldn't blame him for. The whole Yogscast paid a price for the controversy Sjin and Turps caused. A lot of the yogs are pretty independent in their content, Sips is one, and it tarnishes their work and threatens their job security when individual members break these kinds of rules and start this kind of trouble. And with it being one after the other and then again for good measure, he's probably fed up with it.

I always felt Sips was sort of the outlier among the yogscast, saw his early stuff and he was always branded as SIPS, not so much yogscast. He has a real grip on his identity, what he is, does, likes, etc etc. Sips is a man who goes with the flow, tries to not get caught up in things that aren't important in the long run. I think that's something to respect and admire, and part of his long-lasting appeal.

Noblesseux Flax is short tempered, self centered, and self serving. I can’t watch his content. I subbed to Hat Films when they only had 24,000 subs and weren’t apart of Yogscast and they were fricking brilliant, funny, and witty. They reminded me of Monty Python. Then they got big and started pandering their humor to attract 12 year old boys for subs. Everything is vulgar and immature now. Sips can still be vulgar, but he doesn’t shove it down your throat every minute. He just lets it happen you know. Has fun with it. Isn’t forced. Then goes on about something else. He’s so mellow that I love listening to him at night when I go to sleep. Really respect his class and maturity and self deprivation and his ability to say fuck it and have fun. He deserves all the best.

That said I guess it didn't work for PFlax -- I can't help picturing his kid watching his dad's vids (the Team DD vids of them playing pre-release Divinity: OS 2 come to mind because he made them practically unwatchable) out of curiosity and seeing him getting legitimately angry over a computer game and making things really awkward by taking a game so seriously. Meanwhile Sips' videos (or at least before he quit posting on his channel) are always lighthearted and stuff like his editing jokes in his Skyrim vids is basically the definition of "dad humor."

The reality is we'll never know what Sjin did, but obviously Louis and whoever else thought it was bad enough to warrant parting ways. Out of all the things I've ever read that is related to Sips, I never have once seen it to be this or did I ever even think of expecting this. When we can tell Sips is legit sad, it means things really could be better. Man I've been following the Yogscast for a while now and this is going to be weird. Sjin was definitely one of my favorite members, so it is conflicting to hear about things of this nature. Regardless of how you feel though, you really have to give it to Lewis for being decisive and drawing clear lines about what will and will not be tolerated at the Yogscast.

Well honestly I'm two things for sure: A business woman and a good judge of character. I've been watching these guys as long as they had a YT channel (either one of them) on and off again. I just came across this whole situation bc I really felt like watching some sjinanigans again but couldn't remember the name of the series I wanted to watch and so I came across this issue on google. After reading into it: Turps - knew he was a dirt bag since day 1 --- Caff - creeped me out since day1. I never got that feeling from Sjin. He was that cute awkward nerd. They are never good with these topics. I've seen my fair share of them being a gamer as long as I can remember but that doesn't make them predators, just idiots. It's actually quite charming if you can handle it and honestly not so different from the content they've put on the internet. As much as Lewis humours me he has quite the sexist streak to him a lot of times. It goes way too far and I remember listening to one of their early podcasts when they chatted about how he and Hannah met at the time. That whole situation wasn't exactly kosher either. So considering I never got a bad vibe from Sjin and the history of Lewis himself and the way the female members of the Yogscast to this day have to either clap back or take the casual sexism, it doesn't look to me like there would be a real strict line for missconduct. You simply can't casually throw some sexual harrassment into a stream - even if it is meant as a joke and I get that it is a joke, our generation is way less sensible than the kids nowadays, honestly I'm probably the worst: my teammates always knew I was probably the best player in the group and I wouldn't let any opportunity slide for an inuendo or dirty joke - but fire someone who might or might not have done the same in a DM. That's the biggest problem: I've read up on it and the two other people who gave a statement regarding it were Lewis, who said he is neither guilty nor innocent and Zoey (who I called since the first time I came across her fondly "The Bitch" who literally dates a fan) who went full on witchhunt. You've said Lewis was decisive and was drawing a clear line about what will and will not be tolerated, but I can't share your opinion here. There is no clear line. If you go simply by the moral standards there is no different between "flirting" and casual sexual harrassment on a stream or video and someone doing (allegedly) the same via DMs. So since I can't figure out what the issue actually is and there is clearly not a rule for sexual harrassment towards women in this company I need to look at it from a business woman's perspective. Ergo: This decision had nothing to do with being decisive or moral standards and purely with finances and the fear of losing them. It's simple, "banter" between people on a stream is considered entertainment but the second this "persona" behaviour bleeds even slightly into the world outside of the limited space these "personas" are allowed to have it becomes an issue with investors. Especially nowadays when most sponsors don't want to invest in less childfriendly entertainers they jump ship very quickly. You can only allow yourself being non PG / seemingly problematic if you are big enough and sorry to say Yogscast is not nearly big enough to balance the image hit a sponsor would get out with profit in such a case. So my educated guess would be that Sjin was simply a pawn that got sacrificed for the greater good since he was a target for the witchhunt of these internet social warriors. I honestly hope they didn't throw the baby out with the bathwater or how the saying goes (I did take a look at their social blade and they had a steady decline in subscribers for the main channel since the departure was announced before it they actually gained).

Seriously, this shit has become epidemical in America too: Women "come foreward" with so-called "imperical claims" that some male touched them in a way that scared them or adressed them in a uncharacteristically appropriate manner, and spin it so as it ALWAYS sounds the same between each claim: Alone and aggressive. I hate how it seems Hearsay is more listened to than our own fucking due-process. Much like our accused, these guys have EVERY right to stand and sue for even remotely possible false-witness defamation and Tortious Interference. There is a case happenening Right now in Texas with someone facing nearly identical claims, and did his accusers sue when this happened, apparently, "years and years" ago? No. Then they try to ruin his life? Well, he tried to reason why with them, but in the end, HE sued THEM as a final option. And in the months since, saif accusers have tripped, trampled, and distanced away from one another with uncoroberated stories, no-witness testimonies, and some very telling depositions that reveal A LOT in their overall demeanor. I know the obvious question: "why would they lie?" Ill do you one better: Why WOULDNT they? They all claim, because of the "pro-male problem" their lives were always horrible, put down, poked fun at, jeered, booed, etc. Is ANY of it true? Possibly. But its not a valid exscuse to demand a guy have his head and genitals severed and put on a platter (yes someone in the mentioned case ACTUALLY stated they wanted that). I argue if there isnt fully concrete evidence on ANY of the accused here, THEY should sue their accusers. See how well these claims actually hold up under official judicial scrutiny. Think the law shouldnt be involved in private lives? Thats where I gotta break your heart: The law is ALWAYS involved in our lives, no matter how minor our daily toil. The accusers have a right. But so do the accused. Thats how due process is. Dont like it? Tough shit. Judicial law is absolute. NO ONE denys due process.

Even if the case ends undecided, sjin likely has the means to pay it off rather fairly even-tide in, and I can only guess this, some 10 years at least? Yogscast HAD to have let him off with pension, and given their longeviry, they must have accumilated quite a coffer. Most accusers, however, do NOT have such moneyx and would likely be left in permanent legal fee debt, which basically cripples your credit forever. Its an even WORSE nightmare for them if sjiw would take action to that, compounded by the possibility if it IS found they did this solely to spite him, theyd be looking at some 20 years behind bars. At least Id HOPE the UK has such harshness against false-witness convictions. Shit like thus wouldnt BE so controvertial today otherwise. Sorry to sound like a "victim blamer" But the MeToo movement has a LOT of selfish harlots taking advantage of them too. The deserve to get called out just as much as any actual offenders. But when it comes to allegations like these I keep asking: WHY avoid legal or even basic law enforcement action? THEYRE the ones qualified to find evidence to ghese claims, NOT the people! I NEVER understood this avoidance of law encorcement. Not EVERY cop you come across is crooked. Sure theyre near emotionless and ALWAYS stoic, but THATS the entire point of the job aside from "upholding the law" Rules are everything. You break them or skirt around them, you BETTER have a plan to deal with the inevitable consequences of that. They ALWAYS come around eventually.

I can't express how well Sips has dealt with and addressed these recent issues. The kindness and morality Sips displays in these situations is admirable and I can't think of a better role model in that regard. Throughout all of this turmoil, Sips, more than anyone else, has been the voice of reason for me and handles these extremley difficult and personal ordeals with reason and grace. The nickname coined years ago still rings true. Sips is the Real guy. The Best guy. From us all, thank you Sips. I don't think it's a real concern, just people freaking out. Caff was bad, Turps was not as visibly bad, Sjin violated COC. The offenses are getting progressively lighter. The Yogscast still seems reasonably and emotionally unified and I HIGHLY doubt they'll be at each other's throats over innuendo in a TTT episode or some other little thing.

You can hear the emotion in his voice in both videos. It's always hard when you find out someone had been doing something shitty while you were friends with them. I've seen it tear an irl community apart before, as some take a strong stand with the victim and others take an equally strong stand with the accused. Some people react with anger, treating it as a betrayal. Others flat out deny it even when there's evidence. Others still react like Sips, where it's almost like a friend had passed away. In any situation it's hard to reconcile lingering feelings of friendship with the newfound understanding of what they did. Respect to Sips for handling it so well, not making excuses for him or trying to pretend it didn't happen; just speaking it honestly.

I've been watching Sips ever since his introduction in to Tekkit, and if I remember right that was one of his earliest if not first introduction in a Yogscast video? Anyways, over the years my interest in the Yogscast has slowly faded in to nothing, but I still watch Sips to this day. He really is the real guy, the best guy. I hope all this gets sorted out the best way it possibly can, but I hope Sips continues to make videos for years to come!

The group yogscast of my childhood has always been ridgedog, Lewis and simon, sjin, and sips and duncan, and quite honestly it always will be. It really hurts me since I'm 22 years old and I've been watching the yogscast since i was 12, it really hurts to find out that such an important group such as the yogscast which has really positively impacted my school life is falling apart really doesn't feel good in my opinion... i stuck around for the jaffas, waited for the israphel continuation and stayed to see the original gang still playing together (not including ridgedog) sjin and sips always felt like the dynamic duo of the yogscast almost like the villain that was more interesting than the main character I really hope sjin and sips still try to play together, as silly as this sounds I kinda want to see the old gang playing minecraft similar to what they did with yoglabs, jaffa factory, and to interact with eachother mid episode like they did with jaffa factory and voltz, it really went to show that this was really a group of friends playing a game together.

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but it was only a matter of time to be honest. The Yogscast has been an institution for so long now. I've been surprised year after year that they've remained active. For many of us, they were as much of a staple of our formative years as whatever music or TV shows we were into, perhaps even moreso because of the abundance of quality content they put out and their entertaining personalities as performers. I'm as shocked as anyone else about what's come out, but it was inevitable that someday the Yogscast would end. I'm sad that it had to be an ugly end like this.

I said this before in another video it is ok to like someone's work and art even if you are not a fan of their actions 2 examples for me are I love Michael Jackson's music a lot of his songs had good messages and a decent beat even though the person was less than ideal and a big one is Walt Disney who at best was a Nazi Sympathizer or at worst was a racist pedophile but I still watch and enjoy things made by his company I am not to fond of sjin's actions but I still enjoy his content and I think that is ok I would just like to reiterate the facts that we know that sjin was inappropriate with fans but there was nothing illegal going on so when sjin does return I will probably still check out his content it will be different bc for these past few years sjin mostly did collabs and I don't think that will be on the cards anymore since he is no longer a part of yogscast so idk if I will still enjoy it but I will check it out bc while I am not a fan of his actions I am a fan of his work
