@@Jayasinghe_family It was spot on. Can return it to it time and again. Good insight on things, unlikely to find anywhere else. He says it is 90 pages long, yes, but there is not that much text on each page, but all the information definitely is true and insightful. The fact western astrologers would not show my Saturn Jupiter aspect, because it is slightly beyond the orbs, I had no idea I missed that, and it was life changing to hear that. I still think one needs an astrologer to get the full picture. It is not as simple as strongest and weakest planet. The whole chart is a relationship, and the report cannot cover that, neither do many astrologers. Also, like my debilitated Sun and debilitated Venus are seen as separate things. An astrologer would point out how problematic that is. The automatic report does not go that deep. But there are so many points on the report, one can reflect on for a long time, as it gets to the essence, of issues you are having. What is at the core. I liked it but it should not be the only thing to review ones karma, I think. Overall, for me it was worth it.

An alternative to using mulatrikona to determine which house is primarily ruled by a planet is to use diurnal and nocturnal rulerships and then if it is a day chart, Mars primarily rules Aries. That's according to Ptolemy.

With such a challenge, this professor kind of owes to those who he is challenging a proof that BPHS is really a work of Parashara muni, or that JUS is really a work of Maharishi Jaimini. And just for the record, I simply mentioned another way to ascertain the important house rulership of a planet. Nowhere have I written that this is a superior method or that it is absolutely correct. It might be, it might not be. Try it, test it, see for yourself. Maybe it's junk, maybe it isn't. I really don't understand the need for such hot-headed comments. Peace.

Then I might present him with a challenge, to explain two very important verses in Yavanajataka, which lay the basis for later aspects doctrine that's the most widely used in India. I'm 100% sure there are two serious typos there (along with 5 degrees Cancer EX for Jupiter - to stay on topic), but apparently no one dared to critically examine this text as somehow in India such texts are accepted basically as perfect. When I first saw these verses I thought that it was a translation error, but later found that it is a scribbing error, and for the record, Al-Biruni writes in Al-Biruni's India how careless Indian scribes were and that a lot of errors were there in very early copies. So, I'd suggest that Indian scholars first examine their own astrological traditions. And one more thing, even if all sciences have their origin in Vedic civilization they apparently weren't utilized to their full potential until Greeks stole them from Indians. I keep reading of vedic flying machines, electricity and what not. It's like at one point they decided that flying is no longer useful and interesting, so they abandoned it and went back to land transportation. Even if they were recipients of such great knowledge of technology, they weren't really great at implementing it. Personally, I see cross-polination in both astrology and other sciences and it is evident.

Read Bhagavata Purana and you'll get an idea who Yavanas are. For me, this all this is not much of an issue as I don't believe astrology was invented or received by one culture alone. And it's clear that cultures have been exchanging knowledge.

If Vargottama of exalted planets in D1& D9 increases strength, then will vargotama of debilitated planets increases the strength by virtue of being same position or decreases the strength as it’s double debilitated.

play it by ear, interpretively, better than trying to give a rule. the rule is that vargottama tends to be good, because at the very least it gives synergy/ harmony to the type of resources the planet deals with.

You are perfect in the interpretation of classics but when you look at successful peoples chart you'll hardly see exalted planets but majority have 3-4 debilitated planets with worst placements.
