Why choose another Exalted than the Solars? Because the other Exalted types do unique things that a Solar cannot. Alchemicals can exchange their Charms for others when they need to. Lunar Exalted can change their shape. Abyssals can raise the dead. Sidereals can handle Fate itself, make people forget them and together with Getimians, use the best Martial Arts. Terrestrials support each other much better than any Celestial and control the 5 elements... The Solars, of course, also have their specialities: They are the best in Sorcery and can learn any Martial Art, although they will never be as good as their Sidereal sifus and their Charms are very spectacular and powerful. Your goodness or badness has nothing to do with your Exalted type: there are Abyssals who are free from the influence of the Neverborn and Infernals can create a better world. Lunars and Terrans can unite to defend Creation from the Gentry or the dead and not all Dragon-blooded are Dynastics: they can be Lost Eggs or come from the Seventh Legion of Lookshy nor are all Lunars savages from the borders of Creation.
