I’ll flat out say it, and this is from a viewer that has literally watched all your videos, your voice as a narrator and the scripts you write are far more effective than when you use clips from other media. @@Tencelas Thanks for the respectful feedback. I have a format that I think works for people who listen to KZbin more than watch it (like me). The Solar Exalted video was an experiment that hit for some and missed for others.

I think that one of the problems Exalted had was that none of its flagship villains were very well conceived. Abyssals and Infernals were "evil for the sake of evil." IMO the best "villains," were Bronze faction Siderials, Dynastic Dragon Bloods, First Age Lunar Chimera and Tales of the First Age Solars. They had rational reasons for the things they did...to an extent...rather than "Evulz for the lulz."

Question: What would the triad of werewolf the apocalypse stand in Exalted? I ask because you've mentioned Malfas, and I'm pretty sure that's the Wyrm's prison made by the the weaver and the Wyrm is at its heart as well as a hone for all manners of Bane spirits

The Triat would likely be something akin to the Yozi or Primordials. The Wyrm and the Weaver track with the Ebon Dragon and She Who Lives In Her Name.

Second Edition.

Second edition for sure. It's very flawed and needs a lot of DM work to not explode mechanically after Essence 4, but it can be incredible if the players approach it mostly with sincerity.

Even the selection process for Abyssal Exalted is inverted from The Solars. The Deathlords generally choose losers and psychopaths who accomplished nothing in their lives, and died with only regret and spite for Creation. They are school shooters given superpowers.
