I can definitely relate to the part where you were speaking about setting a goal (specifically for an exam or test) and not achieving it and how it makes you feel. I had my exams in October and some of my grades I weren't so pleased with so now that I have exams again in December I'm going to make sure it's what I want. Hopefully your exams go good and you get the grades you want. Good luck :)

This was super encouraging. I just took m first medical school exam and I literally had the same reaction. It's not the worst thing in the world but I did set a goal as well. I saw how all my friends were literally so excited and I was like Blahhhh. I will keep trying and persevere through this because I believe in myself! Keep pushing girl, you are an inspiration.

Hiya, salaams. Don't sweat the exam grades too much. I am in Yr 2 Med and I am sure many others including me, have been where you are now and feel the same. There is always some degree of disappointment but you have to just pick yourself up and dust it off. Focus now on doing better for the next one. Btw, I love your vlogs 😍. I came across it randomly, however, it truely exemplifies the med school life. The struggle is real!! But hang in there and inshallah, you will find success. Keep keeping on.

I love your videos, I was wondering if you could make a video about choosing your major in under grad for med school and if you would recommend certain ones over others (i'm planning on doing bio but I know that people who major humantities do better statistically on the MCATS. (Sorry if you've already made a video on this and i'm just unaware of it.)

You can major in bio and do great or bad on the MCAT it’s about what you put into it. Also it’s not something you want to think about but IF (hoping you do) but if you don’t get into Med school would you want said major or not?

Nick has a great point. I think the biggest thing for MCAT is knowing that it utilizes all the information that a bio major learns but also relies on how well you are able to integrate knowledge and think critically about it. I was a bio major and I absolutely can say that if I was not, I would have struggled independently studying all the major concepts need for the MCAT had I not learned it already in a full course.
