Ma’am the Shifting cultivation is also known as Slash and Burn . Am I right ?

they are different. In slash and burn they will burn the trees to clear land and use it for agriculture while in shifting agriculture they will use one piece of land for some time and when it is barren(without nutrients) they will leave the land and will move to some other place and cultivate. Both of these methods are harmful for the environment and shouldn't be done I hope this helps
