Warlock OTK idea: Play Lorewalker Cho to give your opponent Corruption. Then wait for them to play Corruption on a minion. Then use Treachery to give the opponent a Bayfin Bodybuilder. Then play a Necrotic Geist and Blood Troll Sapper and end the turn. As Corruption will destroy the minion on your opponent's turn, the minions that Necrotic Geist will summon will get blown up by Bayfin causing Blood Troll Sapper to machine gun their face. Though given that Bayfin is capped at 15 triggers, you may need to Reverb the Blood Troll Sapper to deal more than 30 damage.

Seems strange to have the only game showing off the deck is against a bot. But I guess the combo is rather inconsistent.

It is not the inconsistency. It is how ridiculously slow the combo is relative to meta wild decks. You need to create a lot of corpses to forge the storm giant as much as the combo requires, plus drawing the combo and mana discounts. Compare this to the speed of meta decks and many off-meta decks in wild, and it becomes clear this win con is not feasible in most circumstances

@@gootmanboats3864 Not only that, but even in the specific situation of playing against a bot... The combo still didn't even complete... Like, due to how awful CNE is, even with a bot and all this effort it still wasn't an OTK using it and he had to finish the opponent with his infinite Villain board (Which could have ended the game several turns prior on their own) Which is generally the thing about CNE. If you can gain and consume enough corpses to make it useful, you probably could have won the game several times over by then...

maybe bots have gotten better with time but i seem to remember that bots couldn't pick random picks out of cards and the opponent played a couple of them, mainly the 4/4 that makes a 1/1 with a spell, again i don't know if the can't pick random options is old news, feel free to disprove me

A couple of things: Since CNE adds to damage and minion stats, it is extremely slow to rack up to 30 damage. This also increases the amount of corpses needed. Normal games won’t see CNE get to above 15 damage. This would be extremely difficult to get set up using velen or recurring villain. In an actual wild game, you would simply just die before getting the combo set up. DK recently got threads of despair nerfed, which was one of it’s best early clears. If you get a velen combo off, the opponent probably concedes if they are a board based deck.

its inconsistent, but thats not the actual problem. Almost every combo on this channel is. the problem is that your opponent concedes far before you get enough corpses as you saw in the video, 40 corpses is only around 15-20. damage. you could easily weave in about 60-70 corpses worth of forging with decent micro, which might just barely get you 30 damage, but the way you get those corpses is through infinite boards, which will just kill the opponent. and most people will concede if theyve lost even if youre not attacking.

Feels strange having played a combo several times before Mark posted a vid about it. Important Tip: Make sure you play the Exarch first and have at least 2 mana left in order to trigger the combo. if you don't have any mana, you won't be able to forge away the corpses.

fukkoff, never give up. i just played against one of those starship priests and he had like 1500+ armor, but i managed to shuffle a few bloodplagues in his deck and had around 95hp through maw and paw. we went into 20 rounds of fatique and it was a draw. Screw you, i never give up!

Same against some druid deck with jade idols and the 2560-armor synergy a couple years ago. I had a Tess deck, copied the jades, outjaded my opponent, got some way of giving Tess some spell that could improve my 30/30 jades to 31/31 or something like that so as to get 2 for 1 trades against his jades, made my Tesses infinite and got him down to around 200 HP before the turn timer ran out.

Best feeling ever was when I played a Shudder tech deck against armor Druid. I copied his jades with Murlock Holmes so I didn't fatigue. I waited for him to ramp up fatigue and waited with my platebreaker to OTK him. They think they won so they emote spam and rope, then they get hit with it

Try 8 hands + kil'jaed + Helya. You have infinite cards, and they have infinite plagues. Its delightful destroying entire shaman decks filled with 20+ Asteroids lol
