As a fan of these videos and someone who is fascinated with archaeology I wish I was down in that hole help to excavate those artifacts. Unfortunately I'd need a winch or a crane to get me out but that being said I'm surprised at how deep these men had to dig to uncover all that gear and equipment. Looking forward to the next video.

"German canister" was known as a "Jerry Can" by the English speaking allies. "Jerry" was one of the many slang terms for a German soldier. Those stamped steel fuel canisters were so good, the Allies copied them and continue to call them "Jerry Cans" up to this day.

@@tiredlawdog Do you go back to WWII because that's when the British started calling the German pattern stamped fuel containers "Jerry cans" The British military were using straight sided rectangular tin cans that were grossly inferior and collapsed when stacked so they copied the German "Jerry" can design and their great grandchildren nw say "we always called them that".

It's better if they put them all on a display in a war museum. For the soldier's bones they should exhume and put them in a box coffin and have them a proper burial and a monument commemorating all the soldiers who.fought and died during WW2

They must, but I also saw another video from another channel/blogger, they excavate and put all the bones of the German soldiers individually in a box coffin separately whilst the Soviet soldier's bones are put all together in one same box because they can't be indentified anymore and have them a ceremony and prayers before burying them on a mass grave.

Oh I'll just throw it onto that pile of other grenades, land mines and live ammo I found earlier, no big deal. Got to admire their guts, and the skill to find interesting stuff. EDIT: What's up with that music about two thirds in? Jesus I nearly swallowed my tongue in terror expecting a damn boss to appear, I need to cut back on Elden Ring.
