Awesome, very interesting. I had a similar experience here in Wales, when I was metal detecting on most weekends, I had permission on land of a mansion and on this day I went there to detect, there were a team of archaeologists digging and searching for a lost Abbey not too far from Strata Florida Abbey, it was awesome seeing them expose the cobbled paths, and getting chance to detect the soil heaps they dug up. I also had my metal detecting finds over the years looked at and some recorded. Awesome experience

Hi and thanks, Open Minded Wonderer for sharing. I was delighted to be at the premiere. For my curiosity, may I ask if there is a document approximately, when and how Arthur's capstone on the mound was eroded and broken with a large section. There are several dead grass spots in the drone footage on the mound. Any hidden rocks underneath@1:47? It seems this excavation catches people's eyes and, floods of tourists pre-book and visit nowadays. Hopefully, the restrictions will ease a little for the archeologists to work on this site. Otherwise, it is as if we skip a reading line, or miss something important discovery or related to. The collaboration with Ceri and Kat was a fantastic idea. I appreciate your work to educate me always. I cannot wait for your following video when it's ready in the future which is your third visit to Arthur's stone.🤗🙋♀🛶 Sincerely, newbie.
@openmindedwonderer2 жыл бұрын
Hi there. As far as i know there is no document about the eroding of the stones but i will have a look. and let you know. As for what is under the earth of the stones, that is not known yet as they haven't been allowed to excavate that area yet. I am hoping that this may change after this excavation but we will see. It was so great to meet Ceri and Kat, both lovely people. I am looking forward to the report but may not be out till next year but i till keep an eye for it. Thanks for your lovely comment :-)
