Amazing! I only wish I could understand him speaking. I tried the subtitles but it will only say "music" and only "um" on occasion. Incredible homemade machine! So heavy duty it is not a "model" it is a real excavator, just smaller than usual. Wow....!!!!!! Someone should contact Caterpillar and ask a high up exec to see this. I bet Cat alone would be a steady customer.

This young man is a genius. I really hope he is making a good living with his skills. He should be building these and selling them. There are serious (wealthy) RC hobbyists that would pay $20,000-$30,000 for something like this. Not sure what cost of materials is but it's a weed wacker engine, steel, many standard RC parts and what I think is most expensive are the hydraulic cylinders and pump. If he can sell for double what he puts into them and sell 4-5 a year I would imagine it would be a nice income.

Agreed: at this level of accomplishment there are many that will pay more than most of us will spend on a 1:1 automobile! P.S. I would recommend that he add a muffler for the luxury market. For the hobbyist market it would be interesting if you could shift the sound of the exhaust to a lower frequency or ‘fuller’ sound with the exhaust piping.

Pretty sure it cannot actually dig any soil that is harder than sand. Hydraulics is not gonna be strong enough when size is this small. This is a toy, whatever cool it is.
