Exceedance x Amberino '22 Colt - Shane Nichols Racing

Our first purchase at Inglis Classic 2024 was this Exceedance x Amberino colt from Vinery Stud, and for $70,000, it was terrific buying.
He is from the second crop of the son of Exceed And Excel, who has already sired a Stakes winner with his first runner, so we have been anxious to buy one.
Amberino was a Group 2 winner and has been a queen. She's produced four foals to race, all winners. Two have won over $500,000 in prizemoney, and another has won five races. These are headlined by Winter Bride, who has won three Group 3 races and placed at Group 1 level.
He is going to continue to improve being a later foal. We will get him back to Mornington, and he will really come on with this sales prep and a spell. He is a correct, clean colt and has a lot of quality.
