Nice work! You got a lot more juice out of INDIRECT than I would have thought of (with the OFFSET, and with using it to get the player's address).

Thanks indirect has always been my favorite obscure function. You almost never need it but when you do it comes in clutch

Glad I wasn't the only one to use INDIRECT on Level 1. While I've been learning to love MAP, I thought typing out the full LAMBDA contents would've taken too long and just drag-copied to save time. 😂

I solved everything including level 4 using just INDIRECT and OFFSET. Ran out of time after L4, but I expanded the same logic with a few more helper columns and solved L5 too with INDIRECT and OFFSET

@@vikhattangady I thought the indirect offset would cause a REF# Error for level 5 by moving off the screen, and would further complicate goal scoring analysis when trying to work around the error.

I used the Map mostly for practice on level 1. Copy and paste is probably quicker but sometimes I stumble when trying to get the paste range and i like getting all the answers at once.

@@harryseiders1336 it did. I had to use some extra columns. 1 set for rows/columns of the starting cell, 1 set for the offsets, 1 set for the direct calculation, then checking if goal/out of bounds, then 1 final set to feed into the indirect formula

I like the fact that you use an elaborate helper section and then go through all the games (I'm away from Excel, don't know how the function is called, but do know where to find it on the ribbon). Replacing the audience with they're ticket prices was a briljant move!

Thanks, The What if Data Table is a life saver and it is something I learned about through these excel competitions
