Life is filled with tough choices. So here's another one. But I've settled on the amber. This will be my 3rd D'A. I love my Excel single cutaway and I just picked up the wine bari, now you come after me with this, you stinkers, you knew I could NOT resist. Oh, well, I guess I'll just have to pay up...parting with my money for this will be such sweet sorrow! GREAT playing bro'!

I am in Wash D.C. I am looking at Reverb and I see my favorite man the one and only Rodney Jones and I was mesmerized to see him play D'Angelico sunburst guitar again I said what! That's my brother, neighbor, my first teacher who instilled in me to love jazz. I have high respect for him first as a person, a family man a giant guitarist and instructor. Rodney I own a sunburst D'Angelico excel I . Thanks Rodney. Love you.

I play with my thumb and been looking for a guitar that gets this tone!! Wow!! I love mini humbucker one but I think I’d go with the full humbucker. I play with my thumb too, and I’ve never heard of Rodney Jones. Absolutely killer player and his technique is awesome. What a great player, perfect to show off this instrument.

We closed mic'd the guitar in addition to the amp mic, so you're hearing a blend of the natural acoustic tone as well
