I got one of these. I had to send it thru SweetWaters shop to replace the frets to Evo gold...I have a Nicole allergy...I love it, it's a joy to play and a joy to just look at.

The more videos I watch about D'Angelico guitars the more I'm inclined to purchase one or two... but it's a hollow body - why aren't people showing how it performs as an acoustic as well...?

I just played one at guitar center.Has a nice tone to it.The only thing is the Tone potentiometer is not so flexible.Kinda very limited.So i guess you gotta play with amp.

With all due respect, even with the "updated for today" caveat, I don't think the example that follows remotely resembles Freddie Green's style -- 2:02. Nevertheless, Mr. Jones is a marvelous player and the guitar sounds great.
