Two clarifications for viewers:1) Reversing the order of the Y axis is a setting in the axis format. Look for a "Categories in Reverse order" checkbox.2) The date is stored as the number of days since 1/1/1900. So May 22, 2013 is 41,416 days since 1/1/1900. Hours and minutes are fractions of a day.Good vid... thanks!

This seriously saved my butt. I'm a senior in engineering and one of my 10% design projects is due tomorrow. I totally forgot how to make a Gantt Chart for the scheduling. I had no idea about dates having serial numbers. My serial number is different. I guess it changes with each version of excel. Thanks for showing that. Again, thanks for saving me hours of trial and error! Maybe tonight I'll get 5 hours of sleep.
