That sounds interesting. As far as statistical analysis in Data analytics is concerned, it does not go beyond the descriptive analysis (5 numbers), i mean the mean, mode, median, standard deviation/standard error and variance. You can get frequence/count, cross tabulation. Inferential statistics/hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, regression analysis,.....among other multivariate analysis techniques are beyound data analytics scope. This is my understanding.
