I just had a problem tonight with the Excel file that the oldie sexetary in the office handed me with no item number printed. I thought it's easy to print & I tried, but came out the same. I copied the file in my USB and searched for the solution. Yes, I came to your video to rescue my problem. I printed it properly the way it should be after watching your video. I have watched and learned from several video Excel software different option , but I found this one best for printing option learning. Video show all steps and option in a very easy to understand ways to print report in minimum pages. I have only one suggestion, If wrap text option was used to narrow column to fill in long months names then report can be printed in fewer pages to since data for sales were only 2 or 3 digits only.

My techniques here. If the column headings are supposed to be months (like the example shown), I will use three letters only so that all column widths can be set the same. The column widths are then set uniformly to accommodate the widest number in the print range or the month heading, whichever is larger. I also set/use the Normal style to align data to the top of the cell with word wrapping. Having data at the top of the cell is generally easier to read in tabular data. I also ensure like numbers are formatted similarly (commas, decimal places, etc.) and indented from the column's right grid line (not centered) for ease of reading them under their respective heading.

I struggled though a spread sheet just like this example with multiple rows and columns and tried to fit to page , retain the grid and external border and even attempted to put data on multiple pages and thought I must be missing something that would have been simpler but as he said printing Excel is a process which to me is crazy and unnecessarily complex. I would have though that after all these years the brains of microsoft would have developed a straightforward intuitively simple system but they have not and it seems that it is still a process rather than a simple step or series of steps . Makes me think more negatively about microsoft and the limitations of what they do and in particular they make programmes that are absurdly complicated and don"t always improve their system and competition to improve on office is needed.
