Anything you can put in conditional formatting you can use as the formatting parameter in the Text() Function. So to mask zeros just embed your range or array function like this... =TEXT(DataRange, "0;-0;;@") ...sorry I haven't got the new functions for my Excel yet

Hi, yes =TEXT(TRIMRANGE(I:N,3,3),";;;@") would work for the text example but wrapping something such as the LEN function converts all values to text which may not be desirable for further analysis. Hopefully you'll have access to it soon!
