A very useful and quick solution. Thanks. I see some are saying that it hides but does not solve the problem and I guess that is true, but so what? BTW another solution to this problem that I used a couple of times was just to supercopy the data cells from the bloated document into a new document. That may require you to do some tinkering with column and row sizes, though.

Auto-fitting column width to cell contents in Excel is a time-saving feature! It ensures your data is displayed neatly without extra white space. Great for enhancing readability and a cleaner spreadsheet overall. 👍

Thank you very much for sharing this. Do you know a tip to auto-fit rows with wrapped text (and make it KEEP auto-fitting rows)?

Select entire column. Double click on right boundary of column header.

Howdy. I have a problem and I don't know what to do. Now tables with headers appear automatically when I click on tables and ok, although I don't want them to appear with headers. What can I do? do you think you can help me? Thank you

Hello, I would be happy to try and help. I am not 100% sure I fully understand the question, but if you go to the Table Design tab in Excel with the table selected, and then click on the checkbox for header row, it removes the header formatting. Let me know if this helps, or if you were wondering about something else.

I have an issue where the auto fit expands column width more than the content how to resolve that?

Hey there, how much further is it going beyond the content?

Hi I see you didn't answer me anything. Do you think you can help me or not? If you don't know, it's no problem, I'll keep looking. Thank you

Hey there, apologies for the delay. I don't yet have a way set up to share files. Sorry I cannot help more but not sure I would be able to offer a good solution without fully understanding. I am trying to remedy the data transfer issue and hope to have something set up soon. Wish you all the best.

@@CareerSolutionsforToday Ok.When I want to create a simple table. I select some cells, then Insert, then Table, and something appears below that says Create Table. And you can directly give Ok or you can select the box where it says "My table has headers". But even though I don't want to select "My table has headers" and I don't give that, I just give Ok, it appears with "My table has headers". What can I do to stop this from happening, to stop appearing with "headers"?

@@forestdamian5601 Hello and thanks for this, I think I totally understand now. Did the option of selecting "Header Row" on the Table Design tab not help? That is how I can remove the header row if not needed. Let me know =)

@@CareerSolutionsforToday That's what I tried, it didn't work. It's probably something memorized

@@forestdamian5601 Oh I am sorry to hear that. Not sure why it would force the headers if you deselect them. I hope you find the answer you need.
