Hi thanks for your comment and question. I am glad you like the videos. Yes for sure to answer your question. There are many ways you can use Google Drive (now called Google Backup and Sync) This is just a folder that sits on your computer. Anything you save in this folder gets backed up to Google Drive. (Just like DropBox or OneDrive). You can open simple xlsx files in Google Drive in a browser but you cannot open macro-enabled files (xlsm) in Google Drive. For a backup soruce, it works great, even if the files are macro-enabled. Thanks so much, all the way from Peru.

Hi, thanks for the tutorial - I have a question, is there a way to edit the range to cover more than one value to be sent to the G.sheet? If someone was to enter 100 names into column F could these all be sent at once to the sheet? I can't figure it out !

Hi Stewart, thanks for your question. There may be a way to sync large ranges of data without Zapier using some other methods. Hi, thank you very much for the video. Is it possible to pass the excel data to Zapier if we generate the data in Excel using an ODBC connection? So on worksheet refresh, can we capture only the added rows and only send the newly added rows to Zapier webhook?

Hi Rashid, Thanks for your question, any information can be passed to Zapier, within limits (perhaps a few fields of data), Since Zapier does not work directly with Desktop Excel (Only Excel Business Web App) This means we need a 3rd party like Google sheets, So this will help using ODBC, however its the entire table. There are possibilities using the GET statement that may allow you to retrieve specific data, however that can be done in another training. I hope this helps. Thank you for your explanation. I will certainly join the group. To clarify further, I was wondering if this could be achieved using the method you described in the video (by modifying the code). So instead of assigning the Macro to a button, we can activate in On Refresh and have it only send the newly added rows.

Yes that is correct. The refresh macro can be run at any point you like. You can track the # of rows so that only new rows are pulled into the database file. Hi Rakesh, thanks for your comment. You can use the webhooks similar to this with a few modifications. You can have a look on the www.Zapier.com site to learn the details on Updating and Deleting data in Google sheets. (I will write this down as a possible training video in the near future)

Thank you very much! This worked! BUT Zapier for free has really low limits... 100 tasks - mean 100 times you can send the data - and you are blocked! Any other way to do this?

Hi thanks for your comment, almost every free option is going to have limits, however you can use Google Forms, Google Sheets with Excel Data connection without any costs or limits. Thanks so much.

You would just make the Google Sheets a public link then use a data connection in Excel to pull the data.
