Yes the room service was amazing!! I loved how they let you order from the restaurant menus during the hours they are open. So you get way more than a standard “room service” menu. My birthday is also in Aug !! 😬

Looks amazing! My husband and I are going there in four weeks. I noticed you booked a Gardenview room but you still had a view of the ocean to your right. That is such a great perk. We booked an oceanfront room. Do you know if that means we will be having a street view of the sea from our room?

That’s a good question- it depends. They have an ocean view on both sides of the resort, so we faced the ocean but also the main pool (where all the action happens). The other wise faces the ocean but it has trees and no resort action. In short I’m not sure which view you’ll have. Hope this helps! I hope y’all enjoy!

You will LOVE it! It’s almost as if they designed this resort specifically for couples. The service was extremely slow and I didn’t care for my food at all- granted I might have just ordered the wrong thing. The day before I heard someone else saying it wasn’t good service when they went either BUT definitely check it out for yourself. They may have just been off those 2 days. They have organized activities daily from early morning to mid afternoon. They also have a kiosk in the lobby for excursions outside of the resort, including Montego Bay.

Thanks for watching! 1. yes we went mid August and it wasn’t extremely busy. Do you mean more so like waiting in lines, pool area being full, no reservations at restaurants available, etc? If so, no it wasn’t packed. 2) It depends on the service or where we were. For my spa appointment I tipped but for restaurants I did not tip and they did not expect tips. You can do USD or Jamaican dollars. 3) we did an excursion in the “green grotto caves” I believe it was called and the Martha river excursion on the raft (both within 30 min from the resort). The majority of the popular excursions you will see people talk about are ~2 hr ish from this resort since it’s in the opposite direction of Montego Bay Hope this helps! Also I didn’t mention in the video but definitely pack insect repellent. At night the mosquitoes were bad.

Hi. Thanks so much! Room service was ordered on the phone. Ordering on the TV wasn’t an option. As far as activities at the resort it really depends on how active you’re trying to get. They definitely have a loaded schedule from pool games, rum tasting, bike riding, etc. and there’s an area for non motor water sports at the end of the beach. If you’re staying for more than 4 days you may want to step off the resort at least one day for an excursion. I hope this helps! Enjoy your stay!

We did leave one day for excursions- majority of the popular excursions (ie dunns river, rafting, etc.) are 1-1.5 hrs from the resort so we did a rafting experience that was 30 min away and also a green cenote cave tour which was nice. They have shuttles that will take you to any excursions though if you want to go to Dunn’s river etc in Montego Bay

Upon arrival you need a negative COVID 19 test done 3 days before departure. If you’re flying American they have an app called VeriFLY- download that app and it will give you the steps to complete everything you need.

The resort provides testing free of charge 3 days prior to departure. While on the resort (at least during August when I went) you do not have to wear your mask and they provide hand sanitizer at every restaurant and main area. If you test positive at the resort you are in isolation for 14 days. They have a separate building where they house everyone who is isolated.

So the garden view is facing the body of water (where boats etc travel on - no sand/beach) and homes. So not much of a “view” and you don’t see the action happening at the main pool area or anyone walking by on the resort. Then again the garden view is secluded and relaxing so if you wanted privacy it may be a nice option. The audio from the pool activities could be heard from the ocean view junior suite. The layout of the rooms are exactly the same though. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi. Season Transfer is the name of company that provides transportation. It was $195 USD round trip for 2 people and we had a private transport (only us in the car). They have options for cheaper where you travel as a group. I’m not sure of the price but if you give the resort a call they can give you the prices.

Room service is 11+ the no contact option is everything. They slide it in the cabinet and you’re good to go. You can order from the restaurants (during restaurant hours) and the actual room service menu too so it’s everything!!! The food overall was good a solid 8.5 - there were some meals I didn’t care for but those were also the ones I never eat at home no way lol so I was taking a chance. Hope this helps!

The one I showed was “private” but on the 1st floor behind the bushes of the main walkway so guests passing by could technically see you. They have some on the opposite side of the building (no main pool view) with actual private pools/bath tubs out of the patio. Those weren’t pictured in this video (sorry!) but they are definitely more of a private feel.

That’s a good question (vegan options), from what I remember there was a vegan section at most if not all restaurants. I’m not vegan myself so I can’t vouch for whether the options available were tasty. Sorry!
