No disrespect but Guyana is in South America & in my opinion Guyanese dishes like cook up doesn’t represent West Indian. I went to Georgetown & was sadly disappointed by everything I tried, pepperpot cookup & their version of curry I found it to be sour & watery. I also tried Guyanese food in Miami & NY & have yet to be impressed by that style of cooking. The food I found to be most impressive is Trinidadian , Jamaican & Haitian food also the Bahamian seafood. Guyana food anywhere I have tried has never been good.

@goddessn3865 it's disrespectful and just plain lies. I'm guyanese and my husband is trini and he loves our food. Even his friends always asking for me to make cook-up and pepperpot and other guyanese dishes for them. Ive been in Trinidad for almost a yr now and I'm yet to find a good roti or curry, so don't hype yourself up. Of all the ppl I've met in trinidad the indians are the biggest haters of guyanese, it's like a jealousy that is hard to fathom.

The goat is lean because it is all organic. Goats are left to feed on the grass or land. In dry season we mix a little natural molasses in their water so that they can stay hydrated longer. No kind of artificial food are given to them. That is how lean our goat meat looks in Nevis🇰🇳 Another island in the Caribbean.

He does not only love this, it is an opportunity for him as well. And this is also how they overthrow the Indians and the Slaves became friendly and then take everything, they learn everything from the first and go back and make billions out of our seasonings and ideas, and then we same one turns around and buys it from them. Wake up Jamaica for Christ's sake🤔 haven't you learn anything yet?? Your secret ingredients must be secret. Do you see Kentucky giving out their ingredients?? Does the Chinese show you what is in their food?? Why the hell every time they want something they come to Black People, I am almost positive that he owns a Restaurant or Restaurants.🤔 they are opportunists

Personally I don't care for it, never had as a child too. I prefer my ackee with vegetables or shrimp.

That's the kind of video I enjoy. Family style eating out in nature. Fabulous cooking and eating with friends and family. Quick dip in the shallow stream was the frosting on a fabulous Sunday in Jamaica. Love you all so much. Ms Pat from southern Indiana

@@King-pv8fk although there is crime here in Jamaica, you should be unaffected by it, touristy areas are mostly crime free and are watched by the police often. If you do choose to venture away from your hotel then so long as you stay away from "ghetto" like places and communities you will be totally fine, those places are where 90% of the crime occurs. Most places where you would go as a tourist (like attractions, activities and adventure places) are usually crime free. Btw the best beaches are not on the hotels so don't be afraid of exploring
