As an owner of a pair of these buds, there are some glaring issues with these buds: First, the touch controls are a bit on and off with them imo seeing as I am always used to one tap for playing/pausing music, double tap to either skip tracks or adjust volume, and pressing and holding for a few seconds to perform whichever function isn't being used by the double tap control. Whenever I think I'm playing/pausing any media with these buds, I actually adjust volume when I didn't intend to. Next is the big one: volume. For some unexplainable reason, the earbuds tend to turn down the volume of their own volition. In fact, it's a question on Amazon that hasn't been officially answered to my knowledge, only a temporary solution. I'm not planning on returning them just yet, but I just hope that it gets fixed ASAP. Gamesky, be sure to let any potential buyers of the Soundliberty 79 know about this so they can weigh their options.

I have tried 2 sets of these, and both have issues with ghost touches in the cold weather and random drops of volume, similar to the xm3's They also desyn the audio, which seems to be happening in a lot of tws earbuds that allow both to be master. its a good price, but with crap call quality in the wild, so be aware.

After watching your and other reviewer’s videos, I picked up the Earfun Free, Fiil T1X and Soundpeats Truengine SE. I’m new to TWS and really getting into the $50 earbuds. I recently purchased the Taotronics Soundliberty 79 and wasn’t impressed. There was a delay in pairing when I put them in and the touch controls didn’t work well. The tips were also flimsy. The sound was great but compared to my other 3 buds, this fell short overall. I have returned them and I’m looking towards the Mpow M30 and JLab. Thanks for your great content!

These are amazing, just got them few days ago. Deep bass is incredible, long bluetooth range and one of the few which STAYS in the ears at the gym and running. You can of course waste your money on 3 times more expensive jaybirds and get your ears sore, life is a choice.

The case gives know where near 40hours. I’ve tested these. And after you’ve drained the earbuds and place them back in to charge you’re left with 1LED/4 left. So basically you’ve got 1.25 charges from the case. The earbuds lasted about 7hours of playtime at 80% volume.

Great review totally sold me on making a purchase! Had these two weeks now. Using five times a week for about 1hr 30mins and battery life is still going. The 20m range I have to say is legit, even left them in my gym locker while I've walked around the gym. Completely uninterrupted connection. Great all round sound and quality and have never fallen out my ears even while hitting the bag. I contacted taotronics and they made me aware of an amazon flash sale, fantastic customer service! Ended up getting them for £38.24. Completely worth every penny.

The 1Mores are truly beasts, and I got them for around 60 bucks. Great connectivity, easy pairing, good sound quality. But the TaoTronics offer a lot for less. IP rating, better battery life, better controls. I can attest to the quality of TaoTronics, too. I own the wired ANC BT headsets and they do well with their price.

A very fair review. I have owned these for about a month and I an very happy with them, no need for me to keep searching for earbuds. They do a very good job of blocking outside noise, despite no being ANC. I was recently on a bus using them and I had no trouble hearing the video I was watching. I hope a future model will have ANC, but otherwise great. Recommended.

I bought a pair after hearing your call quality. I was so disappointed as I have so many negative feedback as my voice is choppy and soft. Worse on speaking on app like WhatsApp, etc. Very sad. Updating - Taotronics found out my earbud are faulty. Besides the voice, it does not disconnect when i have placed it back to the case. All resolved now. Hope everyone enjoy their earbud.

For anyone buying these, you should be aware of some of the issues these buds have. I bought a pair recently & they worked great! Unfortunately, there are two very annoying issues with these buds: 1. The touch controls on this pair are quite unresponsive. You would have to tap multiple times for the buds to register what you want; which often times leads to the bud pausing or skipping a track when you only want to adjust the volume. 2. These buds occasionally lower the volume randomly. I've noticed from time to time the music would get quieter and found myself constantly increasing the volume. Until I realized my phone showing the volume slider going down (without me even touching my phone or the earbuds). If it was only the unresponsive touch controls, I would've been fine with this pair. But with the unresponsive touch controls in tandem with the decreasing volume bug, the experience you get with these buds are incredibly frustrating.

I bought in singapore last month. I paired it with samsung note 10 SM-N970F/DS. My experience is 0.5sec delay when i watch movie and playing pubg as well as youtube. Mic a bit lousy when i'm talking suddenly my voice dissapear. When i try to record my voice i realise how bad it is. But in term of sound quality it is good enough for me. The bass is good. Sunil Murugan there is a delay for phone calls..... KZbin is very minimal delay. Great sound for phone calls and music. I’m a truck driver and theses are all around the best Bluetooth earbuds I’ve owned.

When the black bands are installed for better fit, they don’t fit in the charger 😕 and putting them on and off is a pain. What’s the secret to getting both buds to sync when taking them out of the case? Sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t 😕 Other wise they’re nice buds.

I have the Sabbat e12 Ultras. Really great bass but only if pushing in tightly. Stems are too short and I tried all tips. They make my ears sore and pushing the buttons really hurts. Really wanted flush buds but have to send them back. Great except for the pain.

@@aaronrodriguez6244 My take on these - pretty good for the cost. I have a bit of an obsession with TWS - I own about 15 diff sets and am always trying/returning all the ones out there. For me, these from Taotronics are.....pretty good but not great. My testing categories are Sound, Fit, and Call Quality. For the Tao79, the fit was the challenge for me. Tried all the various tips and wing guides, and....not great. They sounded great and the call/voice quality was good also. These cannot yet unseat my Jabra Elite 75T as my main use units. But of course, the Jabra are almost 4X the cost of the Tao. So that's my take. These will go in my drawer with the rest of the moderately good units.

Aarón Rodríguez for that money I would go with something from either Soundpeats or JLab Audio. Probably the Soundpeats TrueDot - that model for me really fits well and sounds great. Also know that in March JLab is bringing out a new model for $29 that looks good as well. Check one of those two manufacturers out and you should be set.

These would be perfect if they were slimmer, had better touch controls, and if they no latency. They had the shape down but they are just too thick and bulky, even if they had bring the battery down to 5-6 hours (on the buds) and got rid of the anc for calls to make these half as thick would be PERFECT. I've read the Amazon reviews and a lot of people complain about the latency which is a deal breaker for me. Also the touch controls were another complaint. If they fixed those and made these slimmer they would be perfect.

Mine arrived with a dead left-earbud. No lights or anything, though the case seems to be able to see it when docked. But I can't get it to go into pairing mode :/

The only thing I don't like is, when it goes to sleeps when it isn't connected via bluetooth. I tried to wake it up via touch, it won't wake up. I had to place it back in the case to allow pairing mode again. Microphone is good, sound is good for its price. Passive noise cancelling, blocks a lot of noise. Definitely can't be used for FPS mobile games, it is delayed compared to a wireless headphone.

Do the tips go inside the ear canal or against the ear canal? As comfortable as some earbuds are said to be, I'm one of those people who CANNOT have them in my ear canal. Thanks

It sounds like your opinion on overall sound quality of the Tranya and Soundpeats model are better than these ....? Especially since they don't support AAC or APTX either. The Soundpeats Trueshift, SE and all the Tranya models support AAC and APTX, right?

I got a pair and after a week the right side just randomly stopped connecting with the left side, I see a blinking blue light with the right side but when I connect to the earbuds only the left side is connected

Hi. I received my buds today, and pulled the little bit of tape off to allow them to charge and even pluged in the charging case. After the lights stopped flashing on the case i gave them a go and the left bud works great but the right has shown no signs of life. No flashing lights or sound. Ive tried jiggling it around in its case in every direction. I've pulled it in and out many times and closing the case. As well as turning my bluetooth on and off on my phone. Unless you have some other advice i think the right bud is dead. Can you please help

Have you had any trouble with playing a video after pausing with the touch control? It refuses to play even after pressing twice, instead playing the toot sound when the volume has hit its minimum or maximum. A lot of other functions don’t work very well either and I never know when I’m going to accidentally redial the last person I called.

My BT connection range with TT SoundLiberty 79 is not good at all. They start to crickle too easily. Battery life of charging case is not as advertised. Probably, I would get about 15 - 20 hours of total using time with one full charge. (I charge the case when it drops to %25 - 1 led indicator. Not finished all the charge yet.) Do you guys have issues like that?

Unfortunately, my sound libertys constantly keep lowering the volume.... about every 4 minutes it decreases another notch until there is complete silence. My pair is garbage. The sound is good when they work however.

I just got this tao 79. This for those that want an idea how the compare to other. I also how the mifo 05 standard. Compared to the 05 the 79 are not as loud. Not by much,but enough for me to say the 05 are better sound wise. And yes the 79 base is more subwoofery than the 05. Best example would be think of the 05 like 10 in woofers. They hit hard and they have good bass. On the other hand is 79 bass sound like a 15in woofer . The only problem is that 15-inch woofer is not turned up all the way like the 79 are.so would say if you want bass like me who is a basehead I don't just want to hear it I want to feel it which means I want it loud. I have to choose between the two I would say sound why the o5 r a better choice.

Kind of an odd question but would there be an audible hiss when there is no sound being played? I have a cheap pair of Wireless Skullcandys that do this and this even happens on my m50xbts on bluetooth mode (not nearly as bad as the Skullcandys but still noticeable)
