Aegean Airways has been one of my favorite airlines since they started beginning of the 90's. I feel its because they still have more or less an actual *owner*, as in a person, that has standards and takes decisions as opposed to letting only the beancounters decide. They didn't forget what made them grow.

Excellent service? As far as I can see from your video, just a small snack was served instead of a full warm meal served on a tray as they did before Covid19. So, it's the same rubbish as most other airlines offer at the moment.

Joe, I am happy to accept that full service with hot meals (at least in economy) is not an option at the moment. However, most airlines at the moment have stopped serving even some water which is clearly for cost-cutting reasons. At the same time, this airline is still offering service in economy which includes snacks and two rounds of any drinks on a 3 hour flight. Hence, I consider this excellent

I don't understand why so many of you feel that you should get a proper meal inside an aircraft with another 50-120 people when in reality you can't even eat inside a restaurant..I don't have the full picture about other countries regulations concidering covid but in greece you can't enter a restaurant and have a meal, only recently being finally able to do so and only if fully vaccinated and at least 2 weeks after your second dose... So why throw shade when an airline chooses the second best option and goes out of the norm to do so??
