It's like Harry Hill and Steve Coogan, they come across as daft and zany, but it's a very difficult thing to get right and make people laugh. I didn't think much of Joe for a while, but he grew on me over time. When he wants to be, he can be very sharp indeed, but he doesn't break character very often. The fact he got the second one shows he knows how to do the numbers game, but more often his failing is the comedy relief.
