Excess engine vibration in Volkswagen Vento | Engine Misfiring | Solution | Motofyx

Are you experiencing excessive engine vibrations?

Weak Engine Mounting Results In Excessive Engine Vibration
We had this 2014 Volkswagen Vento visit one of our MotoFyx car repair workshop for an annual service along with a concern relating to that of excessive vibration being observed from the car, especially when the car is idling. The car would vibrate excessively while idling and the vibration was so severe that it could be felt upto the steering wheel. At times the vibration and subsequent noises being heard would make it rather difficult to drive the car. As the car’s annual service was long overdue and wanting to find a permanent fix to the vibration concern, the car owner reached out to us for immediate assistance.
Upon a detailed inspection of the car by our expert technicians, the source of vibration was observed to be from under the hood particularly from the engine mounting. Upon further diagnosis, the mountings had developed severe play and cracks along its surface causing misalignment and vibration which further cumulated into metallic noises being heard, also the spark plugs were faulty required immediate replacement. The engine mounting was in need of immediate replacement, in order to arrest the vibration concern being observed.
