You might want to check behind where the boulder used to be and the mines lakes for stuff, like the scuba tank Edit: Left control whole running let’s you sprint, for even higher cost

I feel kind of bad that your "luck" with the first desert festival skull cavern run, that was horrible with the statues. Also, the thing with the assassin bugs is that they hit harder. Even in an unmodded game, if they crit, they can easily take out 1/3rd of your health. They also use the movement of the bugs from dangerous mines. So when it they can change direction. And the secret note for the special charm isn't one with text. It's one of those who have a picture and a bunch of arrows.
