Don't apologize for being prepared! I got everything out of the way before my son came - and I was so glad I did because he was born 7 weeks early, at 33 weeks. We didn't come home right away because he was in the NICU - but you just never know what could happen, so it's nice to have things done!

If you are going to buy more bins in the future, you should check out the black and yellow/orange ones at home depot. They are so solid and when you stack them, they don't bow out from all the weight. I used them when I reorganized my garage.

I have uses Grayco for both of my kids. We have gotten the set both times. It comes with all that you asked for and we love it and still use it. My youngest is 3 and my other is 11. We still sometimes use the stroller from 11 years ago and we love it!!

Bugaboo chameleon or bee are amazing strollers!! We bought our used bugaboo chameleon, and used it for 4 years and it is still in great condition, also we bought a used bugaboo bee and used it for 2 years, and now our friends have been using it for over a year, the quality of them is amazing and definitely worth the money!

Also I wanted a black car seat too - so I got the Britax B-Safe 35 - you can get a matching black stroller, it folds easily and does all of the things you asked. You can buy a cup holder for another like $10. What's most important is knowing how to install your carseat properly, or it won't matter how cute it is! And how to strap them in properly! :)

Peg perego car seat and baby jogger city select stroller. You can expand the city select for the next baby by adding a second seat when the time comes. You can also buy accessories including a cup holder for it :) seriously, don't make my mistake and buy a single stroller and then end up buying another double one after you have a baby close together. The nice thing about this stroller is that you don't have to lug around a double stroller all the time, you add the second seat when the time comes and can use it as a single stroller in the meantime :) oh and it has AMPLE room for storing bags, etc and you put a car seat adapter on so you can use it as a travel system.

I got the baby trend travel jogger. It's AWESOME moves very smooth, the car seat has a leather triangle shaped handle and it makes it so easy to carry. The big wheels of the stroller come off for better storing, (I leave them on my car is big enough) the seat and base is kinda bulky but very sturdy and you have an SUV so it wouldn't be a problem. I know how it is waiting till last minute I did too with my second had an oh crap moment lol So sorry about the dog, it's never easy losing a fur baby, hang in there grandma Sid, the pain will pass. ❤️

You should really wash all his clothes just because some will shrink so you'll want to separate them based on what size they look like not what's on the tag. I had this problem and wasnt able to use some of my babies clothes. Also I love the graco brand of stroller and car seat I have the snug ride click connect seat and its black and grey. Also plastic handles are a bit better in my opinion as they can easily be wiped down.

The Stokke stroller I think is really good, sturdy en good quality. The Nuna Pipa and Cybex Cloud Q I think are two of the best car seats on the market.

Jackson and Carlie are so modest. Neither one told us that Jackson was starring in a movie with Daehan, although I did comment the other day that Jackson has leading man looks and that I was working on a story that had parts for all the Woods, Butlers, and friends. Jackson would be a Ranger, Carlie would be the town schoolmarm, and Cooper would be one of Carlie's students. Carlie would travel by pony cart with a pinto Shetland pony.

Carlie----I am pregnant right now too and I am getting the UPPAbaby Vista stroller. It has all of the features you are looking for and is great for if you plan on having another baby. It will adjust to fit 2 kids and they are not side by side, which I like---less bulky (especially for traveling, which I do often). You can get a cup holder for it too:) The employee at BuyBuy Baby raved about it and since then, I've had MANY people talk about how much they love theirs. Just a suggestion!

I'm late Carlie, but just want to say please go for the safest car seat first, I used to work fitting car seats into cars and was so frustrated by the Dads in suits who would buy the store brand cheap car seat because it had black faux leather material.(despite it not fitting well in the car and being one of the most dangerous car seats at the time)If you lived in the UK I would suggest Britax, Maxi Cosi or Graco car seats. I'm not sure what car seats are the safest in the US though. I would also watch as baby can only spend thirty minutes in the car seat, as any longer in that position can cause restricted breathing. It is safer for baby to be lying in a flat carrycot, so I definitely advise a pram/ stroller with a carry cot. Alternatively a soft structured carrier like an Ergo, is great for quickly getting little one out of the car when they need a break (from being in the car seat)/ are going round shops.
