Ok so the average time it takes for food to reach your breastmilk is between 4 - 6 hours but can be as quick as 1 hour or as long as 24 hours, hope that's sorta kinda helpful.

Carlie, you made my night watching this video again! Just ate dinner awhile ago with my son who is 16 now, I miss those little years, my son also loved Baseball. I am a single mom so I did all the sports stuff and the park which I love till this day, I just loved seeing Cooper at bat also baby Elliot is so precious in this video, you literally made my day, thanks so much, you guys are Awesome, I am really glad that you have a husband involved with the kid's, I was not able to have that with my son but I made up for it on my part, I had my son at 38 so I really appreciated being a mom! I was advised by a gastroenterologist that Food can stay in your system for a month (for example, if there is a milk sensitivity, it can take a month or so to have it leave your system). If he is throwing up a lot every time he eats, it could be reflux. If he doesn't seem bothered by it and sleeps well, I wouldn't worry about it. They usually grow out of it by the time they are sitting up and/or crawling. We used those old school white reusable diapers as burp rags with our first (he puked so much usually after morning feeding, that it would be a guaranteed outfit change and shower for me). I didn't dare let anyone hold him after he ate, for that reason. Using those for burp rags soaked up so much, unlike any of the cute burp rags (you can buy them at target). I got that tip from my mother-in-law. Good Luck! You have a Beautiful family, Carlie.

My breastfed baby had a problem with spitting up (more like throwing up) all the time and I have been projectile vomited on multiple times. I ended up buying a hazelwood necklace for her from The Amber Monkey and it made a HUGE difference! We took it off at bath time and forgot to put it back on for 2 days or so and our babysitter asked me what I was eating that was different because she had been throwing up. Put the necklace back on and no problems again. We ended up getting a necklace for teething from there also! Also works great!

A lot of times if babies have a lot of gas and are spitting up they are sensitive to dairy. I would cut out dairy and see if it helps his spitting up. I've had to cut it out with both my babes.

Yes, 4-6hr for food. At least for beer if you feed the baby while drinking a beer, it gives us enough time for it to run its course & out by the next feed.

The food you eat or what you drink takes 6 hours to get to ur milk and it can stay in ur milk for 24 hrs depending on how much he feeds!

I'm not an expert but I was told that what you eat will be in your milk 4-6 hours later. Also my babies were caffine sensitive anytime I had caffine they sip up and had bad gas. He might have reflux or colic.

My first baby puked/spit up all the time and was super fussy/colicky. I had to eliminate ALL dairy from my diet. Check labels for casin also as it's a milk protein also.
