Whether you're a Muslim or not. it's difficult to find any objection to the answers that Shaykh Uthman gave to the questions put to him. They were all common sense responses and solutions to many contemporary issues that we all face and that surround us today. Shaykh Uthman has a very conciliatory way with him, which, I believe will make many people look at Islam again and beyond the negative media stereotyping. Here in Malaysia talking about religion sometimes can cause some discomfort especially when some politicians use it as reason to cause disharmony..especially when we talk about Islam...even Dr Zakir naik almost being deportation because of "those" people protest to send him back to India . Most muslim and goverment here is "too tolerate"to not to hurt their non muslim citizen feeling by spreading the word. But there is some people in Malaysia do spread the word. Hope one day this will improve in Malaysia .

15:40 What I would say to this is that in my own culture (British, English), generally it is a no-no to talk about religion, so I do what I call DBE (dawah by example) and it is very effective. If I know someone reasonably well and have a raport with them, and have had a general dialogue with them for a long time, I peridiodically mention a hadith or verse of Quran or principle from Islam that has relevance to the conversation. Overall, my intention is to tell people about Islam. The brother who is speaking here seems to come from a different culture to me and it seems that in his culture you openly talk about religion which as I say is something that we generally don't do. I often worry about the amount of dawah that I actually do and it makes me think of things like longitudinal dawah, where didactic learning is replaced with building a rapport and relationship (as was the way of the prophet) and also international/cosmopolitan dawah, where you might not interact with your neighbours in what is termed today, "the global village", but you might interact a lot with people around the world via social media.
