“Our religion is Divine but our history is human”. I love this quote of yours and this lecture on the subject of the the black stone clearly defines both. You did a wonderful job with your precise choice of words illustrating the historical facts and putting them in layman’s terms for the common men/women to understand and appreciate what you said. I am now retired and at one time administered one of the largest Mosque in So. California. InshaAllah, one day in the near future, I will visit Texas and hope that you will allow me to meet you in person and perhaps break bread or at least have a cup of tea or coffee with you. Until then, May The Holy One (SWT) Bless you and Grace you with His Mercy and Kindness forever. Aameen.

Ottomans aren't part of our history, they are not legit Caliphate, they violated the rules, Caliphs can only be from the lineage of Qureych, that's why Ottomans were very racists towards Arabs and they continuously made sure the Arab world become less prosperous and civilized, their main focus was Turkey, but their colonies were suffering unlike the real Caliphates like the Rashidun and Umayyads were all the states flourished

People often expect that the religion should be preserved by Divine intervention - literally expecting miracles. However, this was never promised. Just as it was upon Bani Israeel to conserve the tradition, it is upon us to employ material means and initiative to preserve the tradition; including everything from the Quranic text to the Ka’bah.

@bazzie858 ай бұрын
But that was true. At the time of the prophet, peace be upon him, the stone had already become black. And it was already called Hajjar al aswad (literally means: black stone) at that time. Ibn Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The black stone descended from Paradise and it was whiter than milk, but it became black due to the sins of the children of Adam.” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 877 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Tirmidhi
