This Morgan trip is really starting to grow on me, even though I usually get bored after doing the same run a few times. I really enjoy going out here.

Thankyou for a very entertaining blog. After the kangaroo description I reckon you’ll breeze in for Australian Citizenship. Great travelogue with the sun shots. Safe travels.

Brilliant Emmelie Kangaroo strikes are all part of the rich Australian outback experience. Sometimes it is Emus replacing Skippy. As you are enjoying the Hay Plain, you'll really enjoy both the Perth and Darwin roads. Keep up the great photography. Thank you.

Another good video from my favourite truckie, You have a bit of washing ahead of you. The countryside is looking very dry, bushfire season is coming. Thanks for keeping me entertained for a while Miss Emmelie.

The Hay Plain seems to be a state of mind. Take out the kangaroos and you could be trucking on the moon. Love your choice of music, Emm. It's inspired. Your boss must be pleased with him/herself for giving you a job.

Onya Emm. Good to see some young people getting into the game. I miss running west. My time is mostly spent running between Sydney and Melbourne now. As for hitting wildlife. Its going to happen. A couple of weeks ago, myself and another truck hit some stray cattle down near Avenel. He came off worse than me. Stay safe out there.

i have been following your channel for a while because i am fascinated by the trucks in australia , i grew up with trucks myself here in germany , but of course we don't have such trucks here , but also the country fascinates me with these wide landscapes in the middle of nowhere far away from big cities , so i can understand very well why you like to drive this route

Another great video,You now know that Australian has bull bar on everything,you will lose count of the amount of skippy,that you knock over,they just sit on the white line,just as you roll down the middle of the road at night,bowl over just like bowling pins.Drive safe stay healthy.Ps you pick up our Aussie slang quick,fffffffffffffff😅,

Never swerve suddenly to avoid hitting wildlife at high speed on Australian highways. You don't have any room to move. If time permits, brake quickly and safely as possible to minimise your impact but keep your direction steady and straight to avoid any chance of losing control of your vehicle and possibly your life. Take care. Great video. Awesome 👌🏽 🇦🇺
@EmmelieWCarlsen4 күн бұрын
I am well aware, we have animals back in Europe too 😇 And also dont brake, unless you are 100% sure you can avoid it, since hitting it at low speed, will probably just injure it, instead of killing it as fast as possible, so it won’t suffer
@faronanderson25364 күн бұрын
@EmmelieWCarlsen I know you're the real deal. You're good at what you do. A professional. It's something I can't do, and that's why I'm here. It's great to see you in action. Unfortunately, though, I've seen drivers trying to avoid wildlife at high speed, costing them their lives because of their sudden change in direction. It almost happened to me. It happened so quickly, and I swore never to react like that again. It came out from nowhere but turned back immediately into the bush, but it made me swerve at 100km/h. I had no time to even think of braking, but I had nearly lost control from changing direction suddenly. I will definitely stay in my lane regardless of the outcome, to this day.

Its a good part of the world. I used to do Sydney - Hay (or Balranald if the Adelaide truck was late out) changeovers. Or as per the logbook - Sydney - Waddi changeovers....... Made for some long nights.
