When I transported a catamaran I used beams and multiple beams side to side the width of the yacht to get the height down low plus put screw pads up under the connection of each hull to give more support and run as many straps on the sides and straps front an back pulling in different directions to keep it from moving .

I came on here expecting to skip to the part of the electrical wires and ended up watching the whole video. Excellent video. This has greatly helped me, I’m currently starting a nonprofit and need a ten million dollar grant. There’s a letter from the irs that I can’t pay for at the moment and because the submittal applications are on the 18th of this month, I’d given up hope. But seeing the way the lady handled the inspection and how you face massively difficult tasks that have only one or two windows of success has encouraged me greatly. Thank you.

I’m not really in a trucks or truckers or anything like that but it’s pretty cool seeing how many people want that one due to fail and also Jackie is the goat
@Benjimac3793 ай бұрын
My question is why didn’t the power company shut the wires off as an extra precaution on that boat move?
@Guds7772 ай бұрын
Because that would have disrupt thousands of people and companies, people would have lost millions. It is 22 Kv lines, 22,000 Volts. It feeds the whole neighborhood, if not large portion of the city and where they are it is mostly companies. And if this companies lose power then it can cost them millions of Dollars. So raising the power lines is the first option...

@jaquigreenlees3 ай бұрын
@@nuptay They do wear protective clothing, the issue is the voltages are so high the only effective system prohibits actually working short of turning off the power supply. Shutting down the city power to move an over-size load, repair power lines, add power lines / connections would not go over well. The only effective protection is a metal mesh suit that is connected to a grounded line to bypass the workers body. can't work with 250,000 volts cascading across your body.
