If Paul never did anything else, his performance of "My Dad" on the program would be enough to place him in the list of all-time most special and memorable moments in TV history. I've never made it through that performance without tears. In those days they rarely recognized kids for performances on TV and music. But Paul was most deserving of an Emmy & a Grammy for that performance. Yet Paul has so many additional accomplishments to be proud of and I salute him.

Wow i had my heart attack in Cherokee Iowa as a truck driver delivering to a grocery DC in Cherokee and they had to fly me by helicopter to soix city Iowa to a hospital that had the facilities to handle my heart attack because Cherokee Iowa was to small a city or town, there wasn't even a tr 7:08 uck stop there and i stayed on the property of the grocery DC and the ambulance came there to get me, i know i think he said Cherokee county but there is a town called Cherokee also.

Mickey Rooney had every right to be angry at his treatment in Hollywood'later years.I remember one year at the Oscars not sure if it was Billy Crystal or Steve Martin but they commented "Oh look there's Paris Hilton right up front..and way way back there there'Mickey Rooney Well after commercial break Mickey was bought up front. Rooney was great on an episode of The Figitive

Paul is just the best, and always was. BTW, CEO wives are usually 9 out of 10 famous for RUINING many shows with their awful "housewifey" opinions. So it's wonderful to finally see in one of Paul's recollections that for once a bosslady by marriage actually made a GOOD call!
