And it was height of WW2 , letters they wrote as they went off to die in mountains of Balkan were part of it. We mailed them but nobody could find their families and some 20 years ago some cousins got them and then we send their rings and uniforms guns and medals to them and pictures. They were amazed and wanted to repay us but grandfather refused and he was very stubborn about it. When whole family pushed him he said "Tell them those were my brothers in arms".
