For us to come together, change must happen. England kind of takes control of the entire island, barely celebrate Cymru, Scoti or pictish culture, wales has English on road signs but England has only English on their signs, only English, Spanish and German/french is taught in school but no native languages… Im just saying if Briton is to win back its land it must come together with mutual respect and not as seperate people and to do this it must accept each other as belonging to this land. Clearly the cymraeg are some of the first people in the british isles but I feel like their treated as foreigners by some of the English, even their name Wales means Foriegners and they did not come up with it. Their name Cymru means Kinsman or something. Idk I guess I just want us to unify without loosing our cultures. I kind of want it to become one cohesive culture that embraces all of us.

As an American, last thing I want to do here is get muddled in vocabulary of UK nations (England, Wales, Scotland & N. Ireland). Overarching point is many of us "across the pond" see what's happening across Europe, but too many don't cuz of ignorance, blinders, etc. News here is that our NATO allies cut military spending for yrs in favor of big social programs knowing USA had their backs. Now, scared of realities w/Russia & scrambling. Usually reality is in the middle. I served w/the Brits in Kuwait & Iraq. We're now & hv been Brothers in Peace, Brothers in War. USA is divided & far from perfect. After 9/11 attacks, PM Tony Blair (like him or not) said in front of Parliament "America will not go it alone." Politics in Europe & USA suck. People are ignorant. But, it's time to get our houses in order & stand strong together (as we have in the past). When US & UK are strong and together they're an un-stoppable force. Our cultures & our kids futures are on the line. I'm sure someone will crush me for this comment, but reality bites.
