Great stuff Chris. Would like to point out that under Rowett we conceded 19 goals, scored 15 and got 17 points. Under JEdward we conceded 27 and scored 16. COYL

Good show Chris, i agree with most of your points, I'm an old generation so not a stats bloke, but I understand them. I'd like Esse to be given a chance, to me he has the ability, sees a pass, and cares, he just needs experience. But you're spot on with your other points for recruitment.

Really great video and graphics. Love this kind of breakdown and thought you made and presented some good points. Am eager to hear more from you over the course of the summer

Evening Chaps. Ive really enjoyed these end of season reviews by the panelists on this podcast and this one was stat driven to highlight your points and it was really interesting. I think all you panelists have grown and upped your game as this podcast has developed but no one could have made a "stat" based show like you just did. You done your homework Chaps and for me, it shows why your the main man at this podcast. These stats revealed so much about the managers and the players over the season. Agreed with most of your opinions and as usual, I hope your wrong about a couple of them but all in all, great effort again mate!!

Yet again a well thought through run down of the club's position regarding players. We can only hope that Neil Harris has already put something similar together. My major concern with Millwall is the lack of youth being given any real chance of making it in the first team. Either we're missing any quality at youth or our systems are below par. Of course money is a major issue.

Brilliant show, thoroughly enjoyed it, hope someone at the club was Listening, I have heard that Alex Mitchel has organised his accommodation close to training ground and has returned all kit back to Lincoln, block 31

Bang on with the recruitment hopes, which might be higher than our expectations. A tough balancing act and a tricky summer transfer window for our club. Your stats library was extremely helpful by the way. Rob W (Block 4 just a couple of rows behind you).

Brilliant expert podcast chaps as always …. Let’s be honest it’s a poor squad for the championship, lots of work needed by the board

Great show! I hope Mitchell will stay because my mate said he’s been amazing at Lincoln but I don’t think he’ll be first choice, maybe 3rd at most. Also I prefer honeyman in a centre mid position, but I still think we need another centre mid. And yeah esse should be given the number 10 shirt and just let him express himself. And I think Nisbet can play for us but, according to the players, he’s very skilled and would be much better in a partnership in a 442.

It was good I enjoyed it would love it if we could get tang and cresswell . There be some deals out there with this fair play kicking in and teams needing to balance there books need to start building for the future now got a lot of players gone and a few will be out of contract the end of the coming season

Good pod, it is useful to have a post mortem on the squad and update on the transfer rumours. The stat comparison is fascinating.

Definitely need to inject more pace in our team and specially up front. We haven’t got many who can beat a man let alone one who can outrun a man. Ever since Rowett came in we have been lacking goals from open play and it has been an issue for the past 6-7 seasons. Too reliant on set pieces, knock downs and second balls. Hopefully the gaps will be filled out “correctly” in this transfer window in order to see a more attacking threatening team next season. Not easy but the stats tells you everything as you also just pointed out.

We should definitely go for helik if we can’t get Tanganga or Cresswell. Cheap and a good defender

We need at least four centre backs rather than three. On paper we had more than that last season and we all know how that worked out.

Don't seem to offload players very good at millwall If we lost Joe Bryan, watmore, esse, emaku, de noore, flemming, Bradshaw, honeyman, harding, wallace I wouldn't be pulling hair out and it's a massive amount of wages being saved I know there not bad players, there rowett type players most of em though
@interstellarbeatteller93067 ай бұрын
We can't have too much squad turnaround as it's hard to find players who can handle playing for us!
@GraemeSmale7 ай бұрын
Wall can't keep on playing the punching above our weight card or we will get relegated Tanga should be a possible signing and we should be able to recruit a tidy lead the line striker possibly from the lower leagues
