Sepoy Mutineers of 1857 led by Narendrajit fought with the British at Cachar and moved into Jiri where they were captured by Manipur king's troupe stationed at the border. By the way, some Burmese people were brought in to work as spies for the British around Cachar bordering Jiri river. Athouba seems to be an upright person, not easily swayed but the things he claimed became more absurd by the day, even fully evident from vido posts from their own attacking cadres were put up online, he insists that its the handiwork of kuki insurgents. Knowing fully well that AT cadres in a convoy of 30-40 vehicles moving towards kuki hamlets were posted online and gunfight ensued soon after convoy reached hill areas, apart from instructions from AT leadership to clear all roads leading to that areas were put out and meira paibees asked to block all movements of SF to that area is circulated. He still insists that the gunfight was started by kuki militants. The way they treat Babloo Loitongbam and the retired police lady speak volumes of their intention. These two bravehearts whom the meitei leaderships couldn't force to follow their diktats were summarily asked to retractt their statements. Babloo and the lady knows that this clash was preplanned by AT under CM Biren, and AT cadres were already in places of vital areas with arms to attack kuki villages, and 3rd may was a surprise for everybody. Their houses were burnt to cinders and were asked to never set foot on manipur for speaking out the truth. But nobody care enough to look into their information, centre leadership or state. These two meitei bravehearts knows the truth and I believe they might even be in possession of crucial evidence regarding 3rd may and how AT started the disinformation and the clashes.

Princely State Manipur was joined in India Union under Instrument of Accession on 11 August 1947 and Merger Agreement on 21 September 1949 as unique entity. Secretary of state of British India does no allowed to draw demarcation line between hill and valley of Manipur. Like wise Govt of India rejected the Administrative report (ARC) on UTs and NEFA 1968 for formation of 3 Autonomous Council in Manipur base on ethnic community. Manipur is the first and only state in India held adult franchise and run elected government in 1948 after British left India. Manipur has own constitution. Manipur was declared independent on 14 August 1947 one day ahead of India independent. Article 3 of Indian constitution is hardly to bifurcate Manipur state boundary and creation of 3 autonomous council because of distinct entity before joining to India union. British already advised to the then govt of India to keep boundary safe for princely states in India before they left India . Ethnic nationalism developed by ethnic arm groups shall be handle wisely and dismantle permanently or India will be disintegrate one-day. Today is Manipur and Tomorrow will be India Union.
