UnordinaryLife Sander's is a self-declared democratic socialist. Socialism doesn't work because people don't have an incentive to work. We need to get out of this handout mentality where the government keeps people in poverty and instead of creating conditions for them to prosper, gives them handouts in exchange for future votes. The goal should be to get people off of welfare by creating jobs instead of continually keeping them on welfare and dependent on the government. This is what democrats and socialists strive to do, keep people dependent on government so that when it comes time to vote, the only choice they have is to vote for the one who gives them handouts. Its a continuous loop that needs to be broken. Hope that made any sense. Vote for prosperity not socialism!

elecbass100 well his options as president really are fairly simple: be a mouthpiece for encouraging congress to pass trade bills which favor our country, being a mouthpiece for abolishing NAFTA and not passing the upcoming secretive "Trans Pacific Partnership", making sure he doesn't sign legislation like that, and being a mouthpiece for encouraging tariffs which encourage jobs to return to the USA. He also can make sure that he signs any GDP promoting trade legislation which crosses his desk. I do find the overly simplistic talk of "I'm gonna do this" when it's obvious that he can't unilaterally do such things to be repulsive. But you have to admit that we hear this sort of crap from almost all other candidates. I'd love it if you showed me a candidate that doesn't engage in this sort of language... P.S. I voted Ron Paul in 2008 and 2012, fwiw. I really liked ron paul. :)

As a guy running many businesses, doesn't he employ a lot of out of country people specifically to save money? This reminds me of Romney talking about debt and building businesses when I think he was known to take apart failing companies and sell them for profit (while destroying it).

Trump said here that our gross domestic product was below zero for the first quarter of the year and that such a statistic is completely unheard of. A GDP below zero is not possible, so presumably he meant that the *growth* in GDP was *negative* for the first quarter. That is a statement that actually makes sense, and assuming that is what Trump meant, it's still not a big deal. Negative growth in GDP happens all of the time in a recession - it's very, very far from unheard of. The sheer amount of utter idiocy on display in everything he says here is truly mind-blowing. The fact that this man could become our next president is a sign that there is simply something very wrong with our society.

To be honest, I'm not thrilled about Hillary either, and in my opinion voting between Hillary Clinton and most Republican candidates for President I have encountered is much like voting for the lesser of two evils. That is absolutely why I am voting for Bernie Sanders however. So far two of my traditionally Republican friends have also informed me that they will be voting for Bernie Sanders. Vote for who you see as most fit for the Presidency, but if you are looking for somebody who has a proven record of not being for corporations, voting against military action in the Middle East, and a man who has opposed every trade deal since the Bill Clinton Administration than I personally would suggest reading up on formally Independent now Democratic candidate Senator Bernie Sanders. He doesn't seem to be concerned with Democratic or Republican politics either, he seems to be concerned with America. I have been listening to this man speak for a solid two years and all as I can say is that he truly is an amazing politician. He is taking zero Super Pac money this election, only plans to raise $50 million with an average donation of just $40, and is still beginning to be the candidate projected to be the nomination for President within the Democratic Party. His plan is to get money out of politics and restore America. So again if you have not checked out Bernie Sanders I hope you and anybody else will take him into consideration.

if you watch enough of Trump's "interviews" you start to notice that he's for 90% of them repeating the exact same, extremely vague, talking points from his announcement speech. The interviewers here did actually try to delve deeper into what he would actually do and he just kept talking over them as you can see, never addressing the important questions outright... Not sure if all of the candidates are usually like this, which they may be.
