Over 100 years have passed and Kurds still do not have a homeland of their own. The referendum was a national right, and what happened to Human Right's principles of Democracy and Freedom that they talk about day and night? It was ruined by people who were against and not supportive of this process of democracy. The KRG agreed that the referendum wasn't the right time, but the United State of America said that KRG should postpone it for 2-3 years and then if you do that the U.S would respect the result of the referendum. The KRG said instead of saying "respect" the KRG requested the U.S the right "support" for the result and we will postpone it. The U.S didn't say "support" and they didn't promise the KRG support, and for this reason, the KRG had the absolute reason and right for not being convinced and to postpone it with no promising support from the U.S would do more harm. In fact, many western countries ignored this peaceful process and should be ashamed. With support from western countries, we could create an independent Kurdistan of democracy and stability and it would be a gift to the world to show that Kurds are pro-democratic pro-western, but unfortunately, it seemed difficult for you and you made a mistake for not supporting this new uprising state. The Kurds have nothing to apologize for but to be warmly thanked by the whole world for the role of fighting ISIS, and if it wasn't for the Kurds for helping Iraq liberate Mosul they would have been much more bloodshed. The referendum has and will always be an excuse for Iraq, Iran, Turkey, and Syria for not letting Kurds achieve their dream of Freedom. This is a nation who has fought against terrorist and spilled their own blood for independent KURDISTAN, Iraq treats Kurds bad and cut the "bread" food source for Kurds, that means that Iraq is the biggest enemy to humanity! What a joke the great leader is. There is no such thing as a Kurdish question in Turkey? Soon he will go back on his previous statements and claim there was not one to begin with. Joker. Everything for nationalistic votes I suppose, which makes him no different than any politician. Also funny that he criticizes that Kurdish independence in the southern parts of Kurdistan dangers the territorial integrity of Iraq and invades its sovereignty. What about you and your cronies actively meddling in Syria? Once he was a great leader, truly reforming Turkey. Now he has become the laughing stock of the world and the middle east.... Search back in the history Objectively speaking we Turks have been ruling over all these lands for the last 1000 consecutive years since 1071AD. As Seljuks, Ottomans, Republic of Turkey. There has been no other nation in the history of mankind that had 1000 "uninterrupted" year of full dominion over these lands. Hittites, Persians, Greeks, Armenians, Rome, Byzantine, Arabs. You cannot show me 1000 years of rule in any of them. Even if you randomly pick 2 of these and add their years of rule together it still doesn't come as close. If 1000 years of consecutive rule is not enough to be the rightful "REAL" owner of these lands I don't know what is. All Kurdish people wants to gain freedom and living together in great Kurdistan even though it’s a tough battle as we have to challenge in a four different country’s whom stolen our lands As we Kurdish divided among turkey - Iraq - iran and Syria by a wrong treaty after osman empire but since then Kurdish nationalism keeps challenging ,! I personally believe internationally and powerful countries should brake the ice and come along with a solution for our case otherwise never be peaceful region around dose countries.

the kurdish people chose to help those nations fight against other ethnicities who fought for independence u guys cowarded and killed innocent civilians and yet believe u could get the same thing that those other nations got without bloodshed? the kurds havent earned their nation or flag yet, all the other ethnicities did by fighting and loosing hundreds of thousands of civilians to genocides but the kurds decided to help the turks commit those genocides. As a Greek I see a kurd no different from a Turk except for one difference and that is a kurd is a coward.

@the Türk 2750 We are descendens of The Medes and are like Indians and Persians from the liniage of Indo-Europeans. Like you are from Göktürks. The Region of the Medes and Sumers is Mesopotamia, from your ancestors it is Sibiria. If someone has to go it is still you. BUT other than you do, we believe in coexistence and Peace if Turkey pushes back their Atatürk Idolatry and Fashist anti Christian and Anti Kurds Idiology.

I believe that every state should accept diversity in language in culture and race, there should be a national language and also regional language in specific places, I think linguistic division can bring about a lot of instability. From Bangladesh BN

It´s feasible that Istanbul will become European(Greek)again. It was so for most of its life. 550 years as a Turkish city is a short time. I think it will be welcomed by many, especially the Russians and even some of the Turks!
@MrNotebookguy7 жыл бұрын
There are 15 million Turkish people lives in Istanbul Turkey. This more than the total population of Greece. Even if we lay down our weapons and just open our borders, Greeks in no way can reach Istanbul and take it under control. This is humanly impossible From Greek border to Istanbul 20 million Turkish people lives in total. Even if magically we are OK for it in Turkey. Greeks will give it back in 2 weeks :))) Only the bad roads and traffic jam are enough to kill an entire army

Istanbul was previously Constantinople before the Muslim Turks invaded it in 1453 . The Turks ' ancestors were expelled by Tang Chinese 600 years earlier then moved westward leaving behind the Uighurs in China 's Xinjiang .
