How about asking pertinent timely and relevant questions in a RESPECTIFUL manner that don't simply pander to the whims of the interviewee, but challenge them and attempt to provide REAL information to the listeners. At this point, everyone knows that "AEW is great", "Everything is great", "we're having the greatest run of shows in AEW history", hyping up and recapping current and upcoming AEW matched that people who watch AEW's shows weekly already know about, etc. If the guy isn't going to transparent within reason (barring legitimate ongoing/pending litigation that he cannot or should not say much about), then there is little reason to actually indulge this guy and give him interview time. The more I see of Tony Khan, the more apparent it is that he’s definitely on the spectrum. The way he talks about things, etc he’s like a little kid who’s excited about a story he has to tell you. You can see that Tony GENUINELY thinks he’s writing brilliant stuff. Unfortunately, he lacks the ability to understand that he has to get those ideas out and into the world. He has everything in his head, but he misses the details, etc on how to flesh things out so people know what’s going on. And, AEW dans are right there beside him. He’s the son of a billionaire who wanted his toys to come alive so he could have friends and now it’s happened. If you’re into that kind of stuff, good for you. But, the majority of us like to have things that make sense and have a reason and a purpose. Watch your matches that have storylines only Tony knows about. You know Dave wants to bang his face against the table & pull his hair out trying to listen to the full “responses” to his questions. First question is asking specifically about how Tony can stay so energetic & positive with all the travel, stresses, etc. and TK proceeds to ramble for 10mins about Bryan danielson

Glad he's giving Christian Cage the credit he deserves. He's the most underrated wrestler ever and he was forced to retire for 7 years. So glad he's shining more than ever now. He's pure gold both in the ring and on the mic. Hope he gets a huge run as AEW World Champion and gets to cement his legacy properly at the very top!

I had to turn it off. Nothing personal against him or AEW. Everything he talks about just feels like an advertisement. I understand that is the ultimate point of the interview, but I listened for about 20 minutes and the takeaway was literally how bryan danielson, sting, moxlley, and others are great. I don't even disagree with him. I just think people kind of already know that and expect to hear more from an interview with the owner of the company. I think the guy could benefit from working on his communication a bit. It feels like he often doesn't know what to say so he just defaults to a basic advertising formula of how everything is great, attendance for select shows are the best of all time for the company, cite some information about one of the upcoming shows AEW Dynamite or Collision with their respective channel and start time, and repeat using slightly different words.

Tony Khan is not on cocaine. What you're witnessing is the intensity of a true no fap warrior. Aided by his devotion to Islam, he is able to retain high levels of semen inside of his body to achieve an intensity and focus otherwise unattainable by drugs. He is drugs. My NoFap warriors out there know what im talking about.

Im the biggest aew fan, i love aew, and im appreciative for tony khan, i want to like tony khan, i go out of my way to try and find cool things about tony khan, anything likable about tony khan i push, i build it up, but bro, i hate his interviews, they are embarrassing for him and aew, i cringe pretty much the entire time, why am i thinking “dude stop talking, dude answer the question, dude wtf are u talking about” its just exhausting, and i know he stopped fucking with lagreca for a while so dave was gonna let him talk nonsense for as long as he wanted, tony khan its constantly in advertising mode, and defense mode in these interviews, i just want an interview where u answer questions quick and like a regular person, dont switch to a million subjects and venture off into the show or upcoming shows or this or that, im literally listening to this interview as i type this cringing like fucckkk dude please get to the point, let dave ask his questions, hes gonna pitch them respectfully, these interviews are so uninteresting and just come off so markish, for his own product, a product i love, let someone else speak for u, vince never said shit never did these interviews, let shane speak for u, let someone, jerry lynn, whoever ur right hand man is, bryan danielson, it has to be someone else, these interviews are awful and i love aew

I really love Busted open but this interview was bad. You sit one on one with TK. Why don't you ask a critical question? Empty arenas, low ratings, booking that makes no sense. If he has such a great roster wich he does why aren't Dynamite, Collision or Rampage performing?
@colerobin7708Ай бұрын
Because he wouldn’t have agreed to the interview without knowing the questions first, same reason bubba ray isn’t there, TK would leave

After the Helwani interview where he embarrasses himself Tony is only gonna take these softball question interviews from now on. Ariel said during the interview Tony had to take multiple “bathroom” breaks and always came back with renewed energy 😂😂 Ariel has also said the unedited footage would be very embarrassing for Tony if he released it. I hope they use it in the eventual Fall of AEW doc on the WWE network 😂

I was disappointed by this interview. After all the stuff the past month or 2 about being disappointed with a lot of the AEW product and wanting them to do better, but when the man in charge is right there it was just a nodding and agreeing setting him up to big up everything about his product because just about everything he talked about was "the greatest ever". He came off feeling like ole 45. Dave didn't ask him the tough questions, this was just a promotion for Grand Slam. I mean I get it thats why he would come on to do the interview, he hadn't come on in years until he needed Busted Open to advertise. Don't know what I expected, thats what Tony Time has always been.
