Hahah! That isn't too different from what struck me a few weeks ago. And "If wishes were horses" ... The Fed deserves it though - if only to make up for the gods going against him in Rome 2006 against Rafa and then once more at Wimbledon 2019 against the Djoker. Both great five-set matches (the first one an "epic" even); both matches *where the Fed was the better player* (marginally in the former, _very obviously_ in the latter); both matches in which he held two MPs (on Rafa's serve in the first, on his own serve in the second); and both matches *where he won more points than the match's winner* . Now I don't know that even half your wish will come true...but it's a worthy wish for the greatest tennis player to have played in the post-wooden-racket era. Nadal and Djokovic are great tennis players, but neither has the all-court game of the Fed. What they _do_ have is a greater psychological strength than the Fed: a strength they have often specially summoned when playing Federer; who has only rarely been able to summon the counter-strength required. The reason Wimbledon 2019 hurts Fed fans _so much_ is that a win there would not just have been *utterly remarkable* but because it would have provided them near-unbeatable ammunition for their "internet battles" about the GOAT. To have beaten Rafa and Novak back-to-back to win Wimbledon would have been the apex of the Fed's career. (Now, all us fans have is the "consolation prize" of the Fed being the superior player throughout and winning more points. I myself consider that a very solid argument in the Fed's favour, but most people don't look past the result.) Unfortunately the gods didn't want it that way. Why? I don't know. But let's hope they're willing to give the Fed something in return for what they took away that day. To get back to your wish - the Fed will find it hard to win at Roland Garros, but he can still reach at least the semifinal if he plays with the "nerveless intensity" he displayed in the 2017 AO final. He's found a way to create a zone of such "nerveless intensity" against Rafa - all that's left is to do that against the Djoker. As for Wimbledon? He'll win it if he finds a way to "get over the line" against the Djoker. (Playing better than the Djoker has never been a problem; not capitalizing on his chances has been.) Good luck to you, sir! And to the rest of us Fed fans as well. :)

Thought Roger was playing against a random hitting partner as he won every single point and found out at the end of vid that it was Cilic on the side of the net....lol

Keep the rallies short, under 10-15 shots for the most part, and close in at the net when you see an opportunity. There are ways to win besides having to toil from 4 meters behind the baseline. All the best, champ!

If his comeback in 2021 would be the same as in 2017... For God's sake, he would be like a terminator.

Federer is one of the rare players who doesn't put a dampener on his strings... We can hear the ringing in some shots... I can't feel comfortable without one...😏

Given the history between Federer and Cilic, the title of this video should have been: Federer and Cilic practice in Geneva. And ofc the camera should have shown both players
