Troy is a trip. Good guy. Wish I lived closer to be able to work with him. 31 years on a vac trailer. 36 years total in tankers. 45 years in the industry . Shoot I'm old. Still want to work. I must be crazy.

Lot Rot is so nice . I hope to see it again. I didn't get to see this truck . Maybe this year I'll get to see it . That was a great show . Excited for this year . Its close to home .

Troy this is awesome! You've heard stories no doubt and I'd like to share one about car engines and not trucks. When I was in the 9th grade our auto mechanics shop instructor built an in-line 6 in an old Volvo car. He had pre-filled the oil pan with STP and of course the starter wouldn't turn it over. We even hooked a chain to it and dragged it across the parking lot and it just put flat spots on the rear tires. Wouldn't budge for nothing. We ended up pulling the pan and scraped out the pan and started over before it would turn over.

Its crazy my engine is built to basically the same specs 17 liter big bore kit 800 marine cam apc fire ringed head 55 injectors. Set to about 800 whp. Been running strong for 2 years and never has any issues getting hot. Absolutely love it. Mine is definitely nowhere near as nice though. 😅

Its not the weight that is the reason for not chroming a viscous harmonic damper. It's the temperature that the process requires that can damage the internal silicone and bearing strips. I assume this is a Vibratech TVD Damper which is our parent company and uses the same process and methods for assembly.

What I don’t like about PDI is they will sell you an exhaust manifold for N14 select plus and only their expensive ass Turbo will work on that piece of shit. So if you’re out working and a turbo goes down. Guess what you’re waiting on them to seeing you another expensive ass Turbo. Not happening bully dogs Turbo is just as good or Pittsburgh power! And you can build you a turbo that’s just as good as theirs! And guess what if you’re out on the road and you have to put a regular HT 60 turbo on the truck on the side of the road you have no downtime? But they’re overprice shit I refuse to run it PDI it’s just a name nothing special.

As a transmission shop owner for trucks , 2000hp engine there is not an Eaton transmission on the market to handle that kind of power. Anything over 2200lb torque and it’s wiped out. So makes no sense..
