Awesome review. China does the best foam and artificial leather. I was taking with a glove maker from there to make in leather. It came to £40 in quantity. Hindsight i should have given it a try in tatalay latex!!! Same latex is used in hospital mattress. Theres also a latex with silicone cooling gel. India also produce latex in raw form and latex sheets. The pakistani latex is decent too

Out of curiosity, why do some people throw their hooks palm down versus palm in? From a biomechanical standpoint, it seems you would be more likely to injure your hand (contact being made with your last two knuckles as opposed to the first two when palm in). If you thrown hooks with the Rival RB5 mitts, it seems to illustrate this.
@Fit2Box5 жыл бұрын
Palms down is the preferred hooks in amateur boxing as the knuckle scoring area can be seen more clearly , the thumb at the top hooks can be used but depending on the angle can be construed as a slap if the knuckle doesnt connect correctly As an amateur level 2 coach I always teach palm down hooks although people do use both 👊🏼👍🏼
@BlackSpineHorror5 жыл бұрын
@@Fit2Box From an amateur boxing perspective, that explanation makes sense. I tried experimenting with it today during my workout. However, the palm down felt awkward to me, no matter what my distance from the bag was. More times than not, my last knuckles were always making contact with the bag. Then again, you are not likely to fight many cylinder-shaped opponents. Personally, I find a hybrid between palm down and palm in the most comfortable and safest for me when hitting the heavy bag. Palm down works well on the speedbag though.
@Fit2Box5 жыл бұрын
Boxing4Fitness I feel I get more power with the hook with the thumb at the top , however the main palm down is good to practice ( the more you practice the more comfortable/effective it becomes )remember to keep your elbow parallel to the grown when you make contact Stick with it Amateur palms down is easier to score as a knuckles shot Thumb up hook can be seen as a non scoring punch (slap) dependant on the angle it connects It’s good to be able to do both 👊🏼👍🏼

Hey first off I love your videos and there very helpful, I have a question about haymaker boxing because on there KZbin there’s a video of you reviewing their gloves and I can’t find it on your channel. Also csquared boxing had a video about haymaker that also isn’t there anymore I just wanted to know if there good or not wondering about buying
@Fit2Box5 жыл бұрын
Haymaker Hi there thanks for watching my videos🙏🏼👊🏼👍🏼 Yes unfortunately I was put in a position where I had to remove the haymaker video😔 I really liked the gloves hence why they appeared on the channel But viewers feedback was that we’re experiencing some pretty poor service in getting (and sometimes not getting) the gloves I value my viewers too much to put them in a position where they have a bad experience on the back of one of my videos so I reluctantly removed the video Really disappointing as their gloves were good tbf

King Coles Boxing I couldn’t on good faith leave the review on channel given the customer experience viewers were experiencing A real shame But an assurance to my viewers that even if companies have a good enough product to appear on the channel They must have the customer service to back up the product Otherwise they risk losing the Fit2box channel backing A cautionary tale for brands to treat my viewers with the respect they deserve 🙏🏼👊🏼👍🏼

If we have established that high end brands like Rival, Onx, and now Fly have made top quality gloves with synthetic materials that are as strong or stronger than leather, than what is the point of spending more for super premium leather gloves? Sounds like a waste of money besides as a clout purchase. This is especially true with Fly considering you have said everything besides the outer shell is exactly the same as their leather versions.
@Fit2Box5 жыл бұрын
Don’t get me wrong they are great value for money but as stated in the video my favourites are the leather versions of the groin guard and the gloves I like the fact I can show you both versions so people can decide which best suit their budgets and requirements 👊🏼👍🏼

$200 is ridiculous for synthetic leather gloves. It's still a massive cost especially for us folks in the states. The fact that Flyt hinks it's okay to make these with a synthetic is just ridiculous to me. There's no reason at this price point they shouldn't be leather, it's not like they boast the kind of technology that the ONX gloves have which can make that price point more reasonable. Even worse that they're first manufactured in China versus being made in the UK. Couldn't ever imagine that being worth the cost when brands like Sabas, Infinitude, among others offer extremely high quality leather gloves for sub $150.
