Congratulations to Disney for hiring such a mature interviewer. It's so refreshing to see an important interview done with patience, intelligence and respect. I can't wait to read her book. I grew up in the 60s watching the Disney film she was in. Even as a kid, I was smitten with her....like the rest of the world.

I also am glad that you asked her about The Black Cauldron as I always wanted to know why or how she was recast as Eilonwy in The Black Cauldron. A shame she couldn't remember much about that though. I’ve read Hayley’s memoir twice - really enjoyed it . What a fabulous family. I’m just a little younger than Hayley and she has been a favorite . Also, reading about and watching interviews of former “child stars” is fascinating to me. And ahh, that voice!! I could listen to Hayley for hours. I thought her book was exceptional .

Very well done. I really enjoyed watching this. Hayley Mills is such a kind, and delightful person and Josh was so personable. He did a wonderful job making the connection with Ms. Mills so that it seemed like two friends sitting in a living room sharing....that's what makes a great interview.

Wonderful interview with the terrific Hayley Mills. I'd throw in the suggestion fans should check out her first film, the moving, immensely enjoyable "Tiger Bay," which contains (IMO) Mills' best performance.

I had a drink and a chat with Hayley at a highwaymen concert in Sydney Australia, back in the early 1990s. Lovely lady. I was very honoured indeed.

Great interview. I recently finished Hayley’s autobiography. It is a warm recollection of her experiences as an actress. Hayley is honest and straightforward without taking jabs at anyone during her upbringing and working experience.

Although years seperate them, I felt the interviewer who had just watched The Parent Trap was completely delighted by Hayley, in awe of her life & times, perhaps, and that is what I would want in an interview such as this."We are more alike than the things that swperate us." The name Hayley mills = magic and I couldn't begin to articulate what this charmer has always meant to me.

Another fact for this person, is that the songs in The Parent Trap were by The Sherman brothers. These men worked for Disney on other movies. In fact for both people, there's a documentary about them on Disney plus.
